They exactly have a couple of guards who can coexist. Everyone is doing that pairing of combo guards like CJ-Dame.

But I do agree that Ben fits well with the Cavs, and those two combo guards.

Using current standings, the Raptors would be forking over the 8 pick.

You have to strongly consider that IMO.

CJ-Dame have won nothing, and will never win anything. There’s a decent chance POR finally breaks them up this summer IMO. Dame-Powell should be much better together.

Which brings us to the Cavs dealing one of Garland/Sexton. Without one of them involved, the Cavs don’t have enough for Simmons.

However, a deal without either could certainly be reached for Harris.

Both Ben and Siakam are very good players and I wouldnt mind having one or the other.

If you made that trade, and then followed it up by sending Harris for McCollum and re-signed Green...

Hill-Curry-Maxey
McCollum-Milton-Joe
Green-Thybulle-#8
Siakam
Embiid

I mean, even one good big man off the bench and that team could win it all.

Here’s an analogy and Im not saying we get either or both CJ or Dame.

Im not also saying we need to trade Ben for Siakam. Raps may not even want to do a Ben and a pick for Siakam. I dont know.

If you have Siakam, you are OK with even just having CJ.
If you have Ben, you need to have Dame.

Man pick 8 is money

I’d do the 8th pick plus Maxey for a hypothetical shot at Jalen Green (I want that player ASAP lol)

This season started with Morey saying the Sixers win almost 70% of the time when Ben and Jo are healthy. He still refers to “their two stars”, but also has hinted they have too many questions to be a real contender this year.

The summer is when we will see what they really learned this year.

Sexton works with Simmons, not in place of.

You could do Simmons, Harris, and 28 for Prince, Nance, Love, Garland, and 5.

I wonder if both Blazers and Sixers flame out in PO, the McCollum-Simmons trade is back on the table - especially seeing they've got Norm Powell to 'replace' McCollum

Is Simons coming back ? I dont see them as equal value with Mccolum being injury prone and older.

Are you saying Bens value will drop after this playoffs?

Yea i'd say Portland would have to add some more assets

Hill/Simmons for

CJ/Derrick Jones Jr/ lotto protected first?

And yes - This is dependant on a flameout by both teams in PO

I can assure u that morey isnt trading Ben for CJ. He just doesnt fit Morey’s archetype for his top 2 guy.

If Ben is going to be traded, he’ll be packaged along with all our young guys (maxey, reed, milton) and atleast a couple of picks for someone like Doncic or Giannis

Either that or it fits my current belief that morey has been on a decline like every big FA that signs with us

CJ?

Maxey to the knicks
Reed to the Celts

Thybulle, knicks pick and celtics pick for CJ.

*salary cap fillers needed
