People have been making the statistical argument that Gobert is a good player for years. Do not care what the numbers say.

Oklahoma City has ‘great interest’ in Patrick Williams, per Darnell Mayberry

“If the Bulls have seen enough of the Williams experiment, one team that has great interest, a league source said, is Oklahoma City. The Thunder need more size, and they have an army of draft picks that can sweeten the pot for the Bulls if a sign-and-trade emerges in July.”

Imagine calling that an experiment lol

Admittedly I don't watch Bulls games (who tf does) but I've played enough fantasy basketball (lol) to know nothing's coming.

If they can pawn Giddey off on Chicago and get Williams back, I think it would be a stroke of genius.

That move allows Lu Dort to slide to SG and Jalen Williams to slide to SF.

Patrick Williams was a swing and miss in terms of becoming a star, but he is a good role player that can defend and shoot. And he's got some of the best defensive numbers against Tatum of anyone. Which would important if the Thunder are eyeing a future Finals matchup with the Celtics.

Tatum is not that guy.

But he's gonna get a ring unless Kyrie decides to show up.

It's pretty wild the waves of recency hype in this league.

From 2017-2020 many NBA fans were vocal about putting KD in the same breath legacy-wise as LeCorn.

That narrative quickly washed away.

I see the Pelicans might want to trade out of the 1st round?

Brandon Ingram
Duke: .403 3PAr
NBA: .247 3PAr

Jaylen Brown
Cal: .270 3PAr
NBA: .359 3PAr

It's hard for me to fathom how this situation unfolded. In College, Jaylen Brown looked like the athletic throwback to the 90s that just scored inside the arc and couldn't shoot. And Brandon Ingram looked like the sleek, modern scoring F that spaced the floor.

Low and behold, Jaylen Brown is the hybrid sling and drive scoring F and Brandon Ingram is a inside the arc, methodical mid-range scorer with little to no spacing value.

Jaylen Brown is one of the more statistical anomalies of the draft in recent memory. The balls to draft him 3rd… Have to tip the cap to the Celtics.

Seriously, if the Celtics were forced to choose between Tatum and Brown, who stays and who goes? My guess is that Brown would be gone.

Obviously they aren't going to do anything after winning a chip; but long term, there's no way they can hold on to two guys both making over 50M unless they simply plan on everyone else making the minimum.

I understand that, this is hypothetical. But who goes?

Everything I have read about Jaylen Brown suggests he is a polymath who craves challenges and new experiences. I think that’s the ideal makeup and that Ingram may be lacking in that area.
"I don’t wanna be Jordan, I don’t wanna be Magic, I don’t wanna be Bird or Isiah. I don’t wanna be any of those guys. When my career’s over, I''m gonna look in the mirror and say I did it my way.”- Allen Iverson
