I'll call now that Boston doesn't do ****, because Ainge is a horrendous GM, and everyone in that organization and city has an inflated value of their overrated assets, that no one wants or cares about.

To Orlando for Vucevic and Fournier or picks (per Bucher)
To New Orleans for Hield, 2017 1st (unprotected I have to assume) and a future 1st.
Boston can easily swoop in and offer Brooklyn '17 plus miscellaneous.
Calling it now - Boston gets Cousins.
Brooklyn '17 is less appealing to the Kings than the average bear since that'll likely go to us.

We can only swap with the Kings' first, not the hypothetical BKN 1st they would acquire from Boston in a Cousins trade.

Say BC decides to go after Cousins.
Philly is unique in that if the Kings truly want to rebuild, we could offer them:
- best of Philly or Lakers 1st (swap rights cancelled)
- right to swap with Philly in '18
- Kings '19 1st
- Philly '19 1st - lottery protected
- TLC or Korkmaz
would you do it?

Trading for Cousins makes zero sense from our perspective.

Pretty much no way. Why trade for a centre? I wouldn't even trade for a Shaq at his height with Embiid on the roster and Noel as back up with the other holes on our roster. Also, obviously, the league has moved into a new era with the 3 point thing. Cousins is a great player but he might not even make the playoffs with his current squad.

Lakers pick becomes as valuable as BKN18 if Lou Williams is traded. SAC17 and SAC19 looking better if Boogie gets dealt!

Boston should cash in on their picks for one of Cousins George or Butler. Now is the time.

Lots of excitement tonight that Cousins could be traded. Man, if it's true that hey are really considering doing it for young players and picks, then this could be great for us.
The bottom would fall out of their season immediately helping the swap possibilities, and their 19 pick becomes like the nets picks in terms of value.

The Lakers GM is even dumber than the Kings GM. How can you not trade for Cousinns when you only need to give up Ingram? We have two dumb GMs.

Re: 2017 Pick Watch (Sac Swap Rights, LAL pick)
Stein reports the Pelicans have offered Hield and 2 1sts (I would assume 17 and 19). If that is the case the swap and the 2019 pick rocket up in value
The feedback I've received from our fans is they understand we are trying to build something great. Good decisions come from having a broad set of options and making tough calls. We will do it unblinkingly. We have to be willing to take smart risks-Hinkie

Woj bomb dropped! Done deal. He is going to the Pels!
I'd post the link if I could get it to work from my phone.

Lakers trying not to trade anything of value again. "Hey we're interested in Cousins. Ingram Russell and Randle can't be included."

Yeah, the Lakers are a joke. No one wants to go there anyway, yesterday's news.
3 games separates the Kings from the 4th worst record in the NBA.

Wooohoooo!!! So wait, does that mean that mean that the Kings are effectively tanking, and now we have a great shot at a top pick???

On a side note, this essentially ends any chance the Sixers have of trading Okafor, but it's worth it!
