Using tournament matchups as a guide to set your team's draft board is a good way to overdraft guys. The player either has the tools to be a great pro, or he doesn't. Tournament performance doesn't mean anything. That said, I do like SGA's potential.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

I think the high stress, do or die nature of the Tourney says a lot about the prospect and should definitely be taken in account. Especially since the earlier part of the year might be attributed to youth (generally speaking with top picks), while the end of the year the prospects have some experience under their belt and you can determine if they have progressed.

I think Kemba Walker's performance is the reason he was drafted in the top 10.

Tournament performance also had a lot of people thinking Justise Winslow was a Superstar...

Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Paul George never played in the tourney. Kevin Durant and James Harden lost in the 1st round... You are either good or you are not.

Tournament play and college stats are more a function of the Head Coach's system, not the player's tools.

I'm not saying it will hurt a prospect, I'm only saying it will propel. It happens frequently. Whether is warranted or not is a different conversation. I think given SGA's tools (6'6; around 7ft wingspan) being superior to Young and Sexton, an impressive showing in the tourney will be what is necessary to jump them.

I'm with you on Sexton, but I'm warming up to Carter (mostly because I dislike our other probable options). He doesn't really fit the uptempo game but he's solid.

Definitely the best all around G in this draft. He does it all. Creates for himself. Distributes. Hits assisted threes. Plays defense. Has an elite trait (wingspan).

Keenan Evans and Rob Gray both in action tonight. I have both on my desired players board.

I’d take Bates-Diop. Crazy wingspan and great scorer. Would be a nice backup if we don’t get Bridges.

Best part about Bates-Diop is he should still be there at the Sixers own pick.

On another note, it looks like your boy SGA is bound and determined to play himself into a top 10 selection.

He is a beast. So hard to play against him with that length and IQ, he's actually sneaky fast as well, again a factor of his length. Takes one step while other guards are one and a half paces for the same distance.

Would have had more if he didn't strangely miss so many FTs.

Zach Norvell was insane tonight. He could play himself into this draft if he keeps this fire.

I crapped on Diallo earlier in the season, and it was well deserved, but if he can play like he did tonight then he has a spot in the NBA. Defensive specialist that is capable shooter and an incredible dunker. I'd take him late first .

Love this guy. I think he could be special in the nba.

If Mikal Bridges is out, it's a two men duel for the #12: Shai and Zhaire.
Is he deaclearing, right?

I like Zhaire Smith as a role player in the next level. He doesn’t seem to possess much ball skills from what I’ve seen. But his shot is workable to be a nasty 3 and D in coming years. Possibly even more if he plays with a great passing PG.

His length and athleticism are insane.

Having to make a call on drafting Zhaire Smith in the lottery is a tough one. He's like the Justin Anderson of Texas Tech. If he isn't good enough to start for us, we'd be stuck with another floating role player that can't create his own shot, on the bench.

I hope he stays in school and is given more offensive responsibility next season. All the makings of a hell of a prospect, but he's way too undercooked right now IMO.
