He's been very mediocre, but I want to see him work with a coach he hired, one whose success occurred after the dinosaurs had become extinct.

Is there anyone here that would tell me honestly that you would rather have PJ Tucker, Melton, and Danuel House over those three guys? I don't even have to look up what they gave up to get those three guys but its waaaaay less then what we gave up for our three. These better run teams get role players that actually perform when it matters. We have a supposed analytics driven GM who manages like it's the 80's locking on to players he had and liked in another job. I like De'Anthony Melton but he was horrible in the biggest moments and apparently he was not good for Memphis in the playoffs last year. Murray and Jokic didn't even play particularly well and they still won. When at least one of the Sixers big two doesnt play really well the Sixers never ever win big games. I feel like if there was such a thing as choke/loser factor for a roster we definitely are at the top of the list.

There is, and the Sixers are definitely top 3 in the category.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Houston beats that or at least gives him a long term deal with a similar year 1 salary.

So... fresh meat in Charlotte?

New owners always like to make a splash.

Long-term this is bad. No way they could be worse than Jordan, who was Dan Snyder-tier awful as an owner. So potentially another strong contender down the road.

Short-term, will be interested to see if they sell off assets and tank, or try to "win-now".

Wow, can’t believe the league chickened out on Ja Morant. 25 games is not nearly enough to get him to change.

It was definitely way shorter than I thought it was going to be.

Maybe it really was a toy gun and the suspension is just for the optics? Otherwise Silver really took it from the union IMO.

Going to predict:

Herro, Lowry, Robinson, Oladipo, 18, and 2027 MIA 1st top 4 protected to WSH for Beal and Porzingis (opt in).

Can't imagine that WSH would take on two toxic contracts like Herro and Robinson to start a rebuild, although Robinson has enough cache after his playoff performance that they can probably turn him right around for some draft capital.

Really weird decision. Not too many teams are in the market for a 5'11" guy that goes 6 for 16 from the field every night.

Tyler Herro is not at all a toxic contract.

Not really. He'll get similar or better yearly money on a long-term deal from Houston or San Antonio.

I agree FVV will get at least 3-75 somewhere.
