Yea. That contract on Mozgov is a massive negative. Mozgov is barely usable as a player on most teams, yet alone worth paying 16M a year to for 3 more seasons.

Lol at the Lakers having to include D'Lo just to dump Mozgov. That was the worst contract in the league. I wonder how shook they'll be if Indiana trades George to a contender. Think a trip to the finals would be enough to convince him to stay?

Good trade by the Lakers. They will now be able to sign both Paul George and LeBron next offseason. LeBron is leaving Cleveland for the Lakers. That is a done deal.

They still won't win a ship then Lebron and George will get old and they'll have to start allllllll over. Glad we aren't the Lakers right now.

I remember reading somewhere on here a Lakers fan saying dlo is going to take a huge step this season and average 25ppg. And I think it might have been in reference to not trading him for #3, but I don't know if I'm right on that for sure.

Good move for the Nets, DLo is better than anything they were going to acquire elsewhere for the next couple of years, and they aren't going to get a bunch of UFA's going there, while every RFA they attempt to overpay gets their offer sheet matched, so paying Mozgov hardly affects them. Russell isn't a great player, but he has talent, is still very young and might do better with a change of scenery.
