He could use the rest anyway, but Jojo Said he wanted 50 wins, so I could see him forcing his way into the second game of the trip. Most likely though, I think he will miss the trip for precautionary reasons and return after the trip.

Charlotte has been playing pretty hard lately for some odd reason, that will be a tough game to win without Jojo.

If we lose to the Hawks, (who probably heard Ben's comment to KAT), then Jojo might force his way into playing the Hornets.

These are the posts I hate the most. While we're rolling at the moment, we're still super young and have shown that we're capable of playing down to our competition and losing to anyone... especially with Embiid sidelined.

Hawks beat Utah in utah. And Utah had been playing very well. Like 21 out of last 23 games.

Memphis just best Minnesota in Minnesota also.

So teams tank. But players still play.

well this sucks but it is what it is. Embiid is the Sixers best player by far and without him, I dont think the Sixers are a playoff team so these next two games will be a dogfight.

Yeah, Unless it’s something serious, I’m sure he can get them to fly him to the game. If they beat the hawks though, they would prob just keep him out.

Pompey is reporting a source says there still may be a fracture to the orbital bone.

I guess our medical staff can't read x-rays, which reportedly came back negative prior to his trip to the hospital.

I'm a bit dumbfounded by this.... in watching the replays it honestly just didn't appear to be that severe of a collision.

I still don't get why 20 hours later it's still being couched in that he may or may not have broken it. This isn't complicated just do a CT scan in 10 seconds. It's either broken or it isn't. It's a bone not a ligament or something.

Embiid sweats profusely. He's going to hate playing in the mask.

Well we can say bye bye to the number 3 seed. Unless Fultz because the UW version over the next few games, we may not even be able to hold on to the 4 seed...

Things were looking too rosy for us to be celebrating like this. As long as Embiid is ready by the playoffs we should be fine, that being said, if he misses even one game the post-season we're first round fodder.

This guy disagrees. He will be the calming presence and lead us because that’s what superstars do.

Unless that calming presence averages 20 ppg, and is able to replicate Embiid's offensive production we're going to be sputtering to the playoffs.

I don't see the issue, if ben is the superstar we all think he is, then he should be able to take the scoring role easily.

Simmons likes the whole team scoring points. He will get everyone involved. Simmons might become more aggressive now though.

Cuz he's done that before? Cmon bro, he's been frustratingly inconsistent.
