And it wasnt just a bad trade in hindsight. The minute that trade occurred, I remember most people were predicting it wasn’t going to work.

One bad trade but since 2007 Darrell Morey has a third best winning percentage of any GM in the NBA. That’s not blind luck.

Overall, I have a pretty good amount of confidence in Morey, but I have less now than I did 9 months ago.

On his third year Lebron took 4 times more FTA than Ben's. The volume difference is just stupid.

Btw, what i remarked is false, in fact Lebron only had one year of those under 70% FT and that season was 69,8%.

https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/lebron-fta-by-year

Lebron only has shot 5 years below 70% on FTs, 3 of which are his last seasons, which at the volume of FT he takes is stillobviously a winning play. Ben still has not reach one season above 65%.

If this is gonna be your defense for Ben at least put some effort. Lebron also started averaging 5.8 FT (which is, hilariously, higher already tan any Ben season) in his rookie season and by his 4th season he was averaging 9 FT per game, Ben started at 4.2 and averaged 4.9 last season. Basically he has not improved at all from his rookie season on this, which is also an indication he isn't attacking the rim more than when he was a rookie.

Ben hasn’t done anything offensively from his rookie year. He used to throw mad passes, and actually shot a jumper or two lol.

Ben’s been found out on that side of the ball.

Anyone from LB here? People seem to be abandoning that site lately due to system changes there.

It's not his fault Benita Simmons got in his feelings and wanted to be traded. I think that he's handling the situation fairly well. At least we haven't just gave him away

Dudeeee , we want him traded - stop giving Morey more ammo to ask for 9 1sts lol.
Hope the Hate Cheerleaders Kobble/Armband/Bum etc don't change their opinions, their hate campaign is helping Ben outa Philly.

Feel free to post this stuff once Ben is officially on another Team

That was actually a pretty slick play. Shout out to Capela for getting completely stuck on a Seth Curry screen like Seth is Steven Adams or something.

And Yes to all the ''We Hate Ben" crowd - we will be off this Board as soon as you can convince Morey to actually Trade him.

In the mean time Bring On Part 5 Baby. :P

Wide open dunk.
One handed lob.

Only generational players can do those. Respect the greatness

I love that Ben Simmons that played on his first summer league.

Should have traded him after that SL

No coach telling him to pass it to Joel then go stand over there in those games.

Brian Windhorst: On opening night I think he’s gonna be in Los Angeles filming jump shot videos. He may be on the roster but I don’t think he’s gonna be there. (…) I don’t think Ben Simmons plays another game in a Sixers uniform. 19 hours ago – via YouTube

I have mixed feelings about all this. On one hand, I do get why trading Ben could be the key to opening our offense with the right " star-level player ", as Morey called it.

On the other hand, this is a pivotal moment in the medium term prospects of the franchise. Morey cannot get this wrong. Prudence in this crisis situation dictates getting the right 2 way player or players/ package for us to contend with the likes of Brooklyn and Milw..

Haha that’s easy for him that won’t even make his top 50.

I’m talking about the 360 no scope
Transition run through the legs pass to Redick 3
Cavs 4 way puppet string master pass
Sick connect with Fultz vs Celtics
Another 360 to Embiid for 3 vs Magic
Summer league underarm bowling pass

All A+++ tier passes

Those are what I’m talking about.

He’s pus*y but at least back then he played with some flair.

1:40 such a sick pass.

It’s my own belief but that should really be his playing weight. Of course you get heavier but look how fluid he is in these clips.

He guarded prime robot Jordan when he was 22 lol.

Now he’s much more stiff (more injures to come?) Too top heavy.
