In our games, pay attention to our weave actions and take note of the matchups we choose to attack on those actions.

We stand no chance if Oubre and Tobias keep on attacking Achiuwa and Hart; the guys they should be targeting are atleast Bojan Bogdanovic, Alec Burks, McBride and Brunson, then we just accept the results.

We also won't be able to win the game if we don't outwork and out-physical them, which they like to do to secure extra possessions.

Nick Nurse has to be more creative on offense; our offense has been really bad. It's mostly because of personnel and shooting slumps, but we have to generate more favorable matchups with Oubre and Tobias attacking guards instead of wings. Defensively, he has to find a way to make the five-man unit work with Batum at the center position.

Can’t even get behind them “tanking”. The 15th pick doesn’t excite me.
always a jump shot away.

For those who like Kai Jones’ raw tools: what is the absolute best outcome of a long, skinny hyperathletic PF/C who comes in without real ballhandling or shooting skills? There have been literally hundreds of these guys over the last 40 years: who has been the standout? Nic Claxton? Tyson Chandler?

Well, Tyson Chandler was a DPOY and anchored the defense of a championship team.

If Kai has potential to have half of his carreer he would be more than worth a shot.Even if he ends up being a Nick Claxton he would be a steal for us.

I'm not hopeful tho, kid is just way too dumb.

Kai Jones appears to have added some muscle, but what concerns me is that he might be mentally unstable. The Hornets asked him to visit a psychiatrist, as he mentioned he was going through some tough times after losing his great-grandmother.

Others already said this, but a decent version of that player would be a very nice 12th man. Not sure what you're expecting here, think the hope is just to get whoever has the best chance of contributing something and pickings are slim for un-signed guys in mid-March.

Also the highlights are very fun:

The problem with Kai Jones for me is that we don't have enough time to wait for his development. We need someone with good basketball IQ who can adjust to our situation, especially in the playoffs when quick decisions are crucial, such as when to switch on defense.

Right now, Bamba as a placeholder starter with Reed as a backup is okay with me. It's not that horrible, especially considering how well Reed is playing with the second unit. I even think both Reed and Bamba should shoot more top-of-the-arc 3s off pick and pop, where they are shooting 40-50% based on their shot chart, but on low volume.

Overall, I see more downside than upside in adding Kai Jones. I'd prefer this move if we had done it earlier or if we were doing it in preparation for next season, where we can assign Kai Jones to the G League.

I think we have a legit shot at the ECF if we get the 6th or 7th seed.

Would be hilarious if Miami gets the 8 seed.

LOL. All depends on if Embiid can get back to pre-injury form. We were playing like the 2 seed before his injury. He should be the best player in every series sans maybe Boston, Milwaukee, or Miami.

ProcessDoctor you are absolutely right. That would be something. ECF, cap space, draft capital, a high first round pick, a healthy Joel and Maxey and ...nah who am I kidding it's the 76ers.

Has there been any update on Joel? His evaluation was to take place last week?

Happy to hear Maxey is back tomorrow. Wonder if the benching of Hield was a permanent move... But if it's between Hield and Oubre...I'm Oubre all day.

They went to Heild's house to play basketball on his court. Oubre was like "chit this is nice I'm taking your minutes Buddy I want this!"

The 76ers were so impressed with kai Jones workout that they forgot that Embiid had an evaluation last week.

I believe if Embiid doesn't plan to return this season, he won't be sitting on our bench. I'm unsure why there's been no update, but that likely indicates his projected return remains unchanged, around early April (April 2nd?).

Considering how well we match up with the Knicks and Cavs, and our preference to face the Bucks rather than the Celtics, I believe the ideal playoff seeding for us would be the 2nd or 3rd spot in the East.

The tricky part is that perhaps the 6th or 7th spot could be better than the 4th seed if we prefer to face the Bucks instead of the Celtics in the second round.

Personally, I find the gap between the Celtics and Bucks to be narrower in a playoff setting. When healthy, I like our matchup with both teams.

A start against Cleveland and than Bucks would be fun.

And than we face Miami in the CF, because they demolish Boston in their first round series like they always do 8-)
