Get PJ Tucker on buy out

Trade- Maxey, Green, Scott, Bradley, 2021 1st

To Orlando For:

Evan Fournier, Terrance Ross, 2021 2nd

Curry/Shake
Fournier/Ross
Harris/Thybulle/Kork
Ben/Tucker
Jo/Howard

Don’t know if Orlando accepts that deal, but honestly think that makes us legit contenders to Brooklyn and Milwaukee

It's fl311 season.

Any chance we get an update?

Also, wouldn't you think trades would be done over this little All Star break rather than at the actual deadline, for logistical purposes?

I mean we could easily trade Green plus some filler and 2nds.

Should we? Probably not I'd rather explore other options.

Looks like the Sac are desperate for relief. Might make sense to offer the TPE plus some picks for Bagley if they are truly desperate

Bjelica sounds like a total diva, I'm not interested.

CoJo I love the concept but it would have to be a 3 or 4 for 1 deal to match salary and that's tough.

Malik Monk has been pretty good over the last month. Since 1/26 (when he was permanently inserted into the rotation), he's averaged 15.8 ppg on 25.6 mpg, jacking up 6.4 3s at a 44% clip.

Between him, Rozier and Graham, seems like they might have a surplus of small, shoot-y guards we could maybe target.

A shooter/scorer of Monk’s ilk was always going to come to life after a few years in the league. It usually takes those kind of guys a few teams to get it right.

So never draft them and try to get them at a discount a couple years later?

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if Boston traded their TPE for Barnes either by the sounds of it their ownership is in real trouble

The one thing the TPE allows them to do is save whatever money is left on their deal directly. Trading expirings doesn't do that.

We tried with a former King (sauce) and that never worked out meanwhile Wood and Grant did.

Wish there was some secret code to figuring out which players will come out on the other side but there just isn't

Well, the secret sauce is waiting for these guys to develop. Sometimes that doesn't work with the timeline of the team. I don't know if Nik was ever going to be a viable defender or someone who can shoot consistently well from 3, but I wouldn't be surprised if he kills it in the G-League and finds a team that needs shooting and he comes into his own.

I think the major reason Stauskas was a bust was because of his personal struggles with his mental health.

As a Kentucky grad and fan, I'll never forget watching Stauskas tear that team up in the tournament. UK won on a last second shot, but Stauskas was the best player on the court. I was really excited when the Sixers got him... didn't work out. I think he was just too much in his own head by that point.

Yes and mostly a Shot release issue, just as many players.

This is probably what makes JJ special. He is the GOAT on moving off ball.

Nik was not getting volume of open shots that when he is actually open, he is pressured because he knows he has to make these rare opportunities.

A very credible kings insider (i believe in reddit) mentioned Morey involved the Kings with Bagley as part of his proposal for a three way for Harden.
