Have you seen how good the guy we got in return for Ben?

Things are working out for both of our teams

Good trade

I get what you are doing. But have you consider what will happen if we would do the same on your board?

We can drop by there and gloat about Harden in almost every game of James, while trolling about Ben in almost every game of Ben.

The reason why nobody here does it on your board is we already knew who got the better end of the deal while you have to come here because you need confirmation.

How long before T.J. Warren replaces Ben Simmons in the rotation? Have you seen his plus/minus numbers since coming back?

@76iology, how you feeling about Jeremy Sochan recently?

His playmaking is really taking form and he's starting to fill-up the statsheet on a more consistent basis.

I've been watching a lot of Nets basketball this season and I am impressed by the way Warren has come back. Yes it's a small sample size but the guy gets better and better each game he plays, which is pretty amazing when you consider how long he was out for. May not be to long before we see 53 point bubble TJ Warren. :D
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way. (Marlo)

Somewhat related..

Spurs is pumping assists numbers. Look at Zach Collins. These guys are not really creating on offense but their system and pace is leading them to get their assists. You can get fooled and think these guys are good on offense. They did the same thing with Dejounte and Hawks is realizing he is not that good.

Regarding Sochan, im not buying too much on his stock. I think he’s easily replaceable and is not worth a lottery pick. Defensively, he’s just switchable but can’t protect to the paint and protect the rim, which is what im looking for elite defensive players. Just my opinion based on what im seeing right now

Sochan had a 2.9% steal and 3.2% block at Baylor at age 18. His NBA defense is coming. By year 3, he'll be all NBA defense. And he'll also have the rebounding and playmaking. Meaning he'll be a jumpshot away from being a complete player. They're rebuilding the jumper from ground zero like they did with Kawhi. We'll see if they're as lucky as they were with Kawhi.

If so, I think Sochan is going to be one of the best players in this draft, though.

And he's one of those creative weirdo personalities so he might be marketable and move merch, too.

I need to see more minutes and sample to get there, especially i need to see him healthy for a stable period.

Remember how people were saying last season that Oladipo was getting close to his prime after his injuries? he looks like a scrub right now and is getting injured regularly again.

Hot streaks and all, teams aren't planning for him either right now.

The talent around Giannis has aged out a bit and they didn't do a good job reshuffling the pieces. Still probably end up in ECF with Boston, but they are not the juggernaut that they have been

I don't like the Bucks chances this year. Their offense isn't good enough. And they're too dependent on Khris Middleton being their savior and his durability is now a major question mark.

I don't think the Bucks can't beat the Celtics, Nets, or Knicks in a series. If they're a high seed, I'm putting them on early exit alert.

I still think the Nets are the favorite in the East despite the nightmare beginning of the year. I always thought if they could get everyone to play and somewhat buy into the role, it’d be pretty impossible to stop them.

I don't think the Nets have the size to get a sustainable run and i still don't see how they solve the Claxton/Ben thing.

The bad offense of the Bucks was obscured by their defense early, now that their defense is slipping a bit they're looking kind of bad.

Giannis has looked bad too the last 5 or 6 games.

Boston shooting is falling to earth but their offense still looks like a juggernaut, they're obviously the clear favorite right now, their defense kind of look pedestrian i think? but not enough to see a team beating them right now.

My Crystal Ball is telling me he should be about 40 point bubble level by 25th Jan and then top his 53 point bubble level by Feb 11

Holy **** for my own sanity, I think I'm done with the GB. The Jokic sloberfest is ridiculous.

Basically the Nuggets board.

Not worth it man, knowing there is another player better than Embiid is bad for our ego, I'll stay in our echo chamber so I'll feel better.

I’m still gonna need to see the Nets consistently beat some good teams before I’m sold. They’re like us in that they’ve had an easier schedule during their win streak.

I still think Ben will be a massive problem in the playoffs and I don’t trust Kyrie to stay healthy all season.

Quentin Grimes is Knicks version of Melton. Thibs probably reminds him of Hinrich

Are there any examples of players being a double digit assist guy for the Spurs and then going to another team and reverting to a single digit assist guy?

I think Miles McBride is very similar to Melton, on paper. Not sure if he'll ever get a role with the Knicks, though.
