Where does John Collins fit in Utah?

He's strictly a PF/C and they already have a ton of minutes allocated at those spots.

Lauri Markkanen is their featured player at PF.
Walker Kessler is their future Defensive Player of the Year at C.
Taylor Hendricks is their lotto pick at F.

I know it's only one side, but Cam'Ron making a compelling case for Draymond, lol. I don't think he needed to sucker punch Poole, but Poole was definitely the antagonist in this story.

Still at work. What did he say?

Summary: Poole told Green he's banged more bitches at MSU than Draymond (Poole went to rival Michigan remember)
Poole told Green he'd be in Sacramento next year
Then asked Draymond why his Twitter handle is "MoneyGreen" when Draymond is broke and won't get another contract

That's some hilarious trash talk. I'm surprised Draymond couldn't handle it.

I'll be surprised if Collins finishes the year in Utah. Ainge will probably get some team desperate for forward help at the deadline to bend over, like he did to us with the Fultz deal.

No doubt the "rehab, pump and dump" will be in full effect in Utah with Collins.

I think my First Take segment would be that Victor is wildly overrated & that Chet Holmgren will have a better career. Watching summer league clips from last year, Chet has some really fantastic feel & ball skills for a guy his size.

So I just read on Yahoo Soorts that Norm Powell is available?

I would gladly do Morris and Powell for Harris.

Or Harris and Melton for Powell, Gordon, and Morris? That works if they make the trade in the next 2 days.

I honestly don't buy the Wemby hype. Before this past season, he had two straight years of true shooting percentages under 50% (and he's a freaking C).

And even this year when he took the globe by storm, he only shot 46.8% from the field and had more turnovers than assists.

He's a franchise-altering defensive player and he's going to put up big scoring numbers, but his shot selection is playoff Embiid-level garbage. He misses way too many shots for a supposed generational prospect. Pop is going to have to coach a lot of stupid out of his offensive game.

I'll just put it this way - if I had to say boom or bust for Wemby I'd be leaning strongly toward bust, or at least not becoming anything close to a generational player, at least offensively. I'm sorry, but if I have a 7'4" player I don't want him taking 3's and putting the ball on the floor a lot. This isn't the G-League or some international league, he'll be eaten alive if he tries to play perimeter shot creator in the NBA. Defensively, if he can stay healthy he could be a monster.

Yeah, I could see that. Respectable career, had his moments, but not remotely what he was touted to be.

I think he’s gonna be better than Embiid. But he’s gonna struggle in his first two years like KD.

I can see wemby as what KD was and Jokic as what LeBron was.

I project Wemby as a better shooter, better iso and on PnR, better finisher around the rim, better defensive player and more durable than Embiid. Also sounds like Wemby is more mature than Biid at his age. But again.. he’s gonna struggle in his first two years and maybe sometimes look like Skal Labisserie out there.

I see big things for both of them. Usually can't go wrong betting on extreme physical talent + great character and upbringing.

Amen is Michael Jordan 2.0 and should have went #1 over Wemby!
