Some of y'all down bad for Shake. Some nice spurts here and there when guys were out injured, but his game never expanded over the last 3-4 seasons. He's hit his ceiling some time ago and I am thrilled I don't need to read anymore comments from Sixer fans pretending he was this hidden gem waiting to be unleashed. The new contract don't lie.

So all that DroppingDimes did is repeat exactly what Windhorst said about 3 hours after Windhorst said it.

Yeah, I don’t know what Windy meant by they won’t extend Maxey because they may trade him for Lillard. I’m not sure if there is a technical reason or if Maxey holds more value pre-extension. Not sure.

Or maybe it was a “they aren’t extending Maxey because he won’t even be on the team to get an extension” type of thing. I took it as they aren’t extending Maxey specifically because they need to trade him pre-extension, but not sure that makes any sense.
