Add KCP/Kuzma/Filler to the list?

If we didn't acquire Melton, I'd be more interested in KCP and/or Brogdon. I'm totally out on both of them now. No more dudes under 6'6" for me.

As much as I can't stand John Collins, I'd do the harris/Thybulle for him/Gallinari trade. Collins not only fits next to Embiid, he provides insurance for him on defense and through injury. Apparently he's done in Atlanta so we should at the very least inquire about him.

If Harden is going to effectively be a glorified Rod Strickland, then there should be plenty of opportunity on offense for a guy like Collins who still has room to grow as a player. Id move Tobi and Thybulle for Collins but I would rather Bogdonovic than Gallo.

I'll do any of them, but I've really warmed to the Charlotte trade. That one would be ideal, then sign Tucker and away we go.

The Dallas offer stands out as by far the worst 1 to me….and it might be the only 1 that is realistic

True. I love the Charlotte deal but can't figure out why they would even consider it.

Yeah if somehow Bridges does sign in Detroit (or elsewhere) MAYBE you can make an argument for Charlotte wanting Tobi. But if they keep Bridges I don’t see any reason they’d want him, they need a C a lot more than another wing.

1 for 1 Tobi for Heyward is probably somewhat close to even. Hayward’s injury issues make him less valueable…but Tobi is going to make $16 mil more over the next 2 years so that might negate the difference in value. If there is still a slight difference in value for the Sixers it certainly isn’t a young, talented and cheap player like PJ Washington. Id be happy enough with Jalen McDaniels

Surprised to hear that. I feel like Kleber alone is worth it and is what we’re looking for. Bullock is nice wing depth and Bertans is the penalty for giving them Harris’s contract.

Not sure why, PJ has underperformed for his talent and Hayward is a closet racist and one of the most injury prone players in the league. Numbers that were very similar to Tobias and a worse defender than him.

I feel like you're under-rating Harris a bit. Going to need Dinwiddie coming back in any deal with Dallas.

Yeah, Harris for Kleber straight across would be just plain dumb on our part. They throw in Dinwiddie and that would be a deal. Collins/Gallinari is still my favorite out of those proposed offers. With all that being said, I don't think we're trading Tobias Harris.

So the Sixers bid against themselves with Tobias and now they are stuck with him. Super.

I don't think people realize how good Kleber is and that he really was the anchor to the Mavs top 5 defensive scheme. Put him next to Embiid and I think you can lock in a top 3 defense next year and really only need a top 10 offense to be a real contender. A two big Kleber-Embiid lineup can play with 3 guards, especially if one of them is Melton.

I'd definitely take Kleber and random flotsam for Harris.

You see it. His fit with this roster is essentially perfect and it would make our starting 5 so much more cohesive. Kleber is bigger and more mobile, is a legit rim protector, is a better rebounder and sprays 3's.

He had a down shooting season, but in the playoffs he was hitting at a clip of 43.6% on 8.9 attempts per 100, and 46.4% from the corner.

If Morey could pluck a wing player that runs around and competes defensively and shoots like Bullock on top of Kleber for points per game man Tobias Harris, we've just drastically improved in my eyes.

Yeah, I’d be shocked if Dallas traded Kleber after their playoff run. He was instrumental to their team and he’s a perfect PnR partner for Luka. He’s basically a dirt cheap version of what they wanted to get out of Porzingis.

Role player version of it at least.

He's also a better fit next to Christian Wood than Tobias would be IMO. He can take the tougher 4/5 matchup and space for a Luka/Wood PnR.

Yeah, I agree...Gonna need some solid evidence to actually back that claim up. I mean, here's a guy who's playing basketball in the NBA...A sport that is predominantly made up of African American individuals and he's a...Racist? I'm sorry, but that just doesn't make any sense to me what so ever. Was the jersey thing? I remember him catching flack over a belief that he had that was actually shared by both Marcus and Markieff Morris. This is beyond stupid to claim that. Oh well...What's society without finger pointing and ignorant ass claims these days?

I never followed his game, but , by looking by his numbers, he´s kinda meh? 40% fg, 32% from 3 last year, and he´s 30 years old already...

I assume the comment on Hayward has something to do with him being a Trump supporter. I remember a story around one of the elections that tracked down political donations that he & his wife made to the Trump campaign. He also had “Education Reform” on the back of his jersey in the bubble which caused a lot of people to look at him sideways, especially in light of the fact that he donated to Trump.

Probably ungenerous to call him a closet racist but also something I wouldn’t be shocked to find out is true.
