Which other team's training camp do u follow? I really like how Lakers cover their training camp. Seems like their team is really open to the fans.

him and terry rozier are two players that other fanbases on here value super super high that hardly have played.
i liked him coming out - shame he won't get the minutes for a while to prove himself.

what's up with OKC's roster - it's way past full? they may be cutting some decent players i'd look into

I'm watching this Raps-GSW game and it hit me how the top teams deducted defensive anchor C from their teams..

GSW- Bogut
Spurs- TD
OKC- Ibaka
Raps- Biyombo

Cavs is playing without one.

Among the top 6 teams in netrtg difference, only Clips plays with one.

Huh? Golden State signed McGee.

Khris Middleton (left hamstring surgery) is expected to miss six months, and the Bucks are reportedly inquiring about trades for a swingman to fill the void.
Middleton's "status for the [2016-17] season is unclear," according to Shams Charania of The Vertical, and GM John Hammond said in a statement that Middleton "[will be] out for a significant period of the season." Giannis Antetokounmpo was already going to get all the minutes he can handle, and Middleton's absence thrusts more minutes onto guys like Rashad Vaughn, Malcolm Brogdon, Matthew Dellavedova and Michael Carter-Williams. That said, we won't know the full fallout until a firm timetable is established and the Bucks make any subsequent moves. Sep 21 - 8:14 PM

Wish it were Middleton that was going to be traded. I would swing Noel/Stauskas over in a heartbeat.

I'd do Roco Noel if they were willing to move Middleton. I'd actually give more if he was healthy but due to the injury we would essentially be eating 15 million this season as part of the deal.

Agreed. I'd make that trade too. Middleton can put the ball in the net. A true shooter and scorer, which Brett Brown desperately needs on his squad.

I'd make that trade too. That's a good trade for the Bucks too. RoCo is a really good role playing forward, and Noel is going to be one of the leagues best rim protectors. They would make the playoffs this year if they made that deal.

I'd be curious what Bucks fans would think of that deal.

I imagine Kidd and the front office expect to return to the Playoffs in 2017, so floor spacing and perimeter scoring is a need that must be addressed before the season begins. First O.J. Mayo was banned from the league and now this Middleton injury. We all know MCW isn't stepping in to fill that scoring/shooting role. Covington would definitely help Antetokounmpo, who most believe are poised for an even better year than last.

Random internet odds of the day:

NBA Coach Of The Year
Steve Kerr 3/1
Dwane Casey 25/1
Mike DAntoni 50/1
Tyronn Lue 4/1
Alvin Gentry 30/1
Jason Kidd 50/1
Greg Popovich 4/1
David Fizdale 30/1
Frank Vogel 50/1
Brad Stevens 7/1
Erik Spoelstra 33/1
Scott Brooks 60/1
Tom Thibodeau 15/2
Billy Donovan 33/1
Brett Brown 60/1
Doc Rivers 10/1
Stan Van Gundy 40/1
Rick Carlisle 60/1
Quin Snyder 14/1
Fred Hoiberg 40/1
Dave Joerger 90/1
Nate McMillan 20/1
Mike Budenholzer 40/1
Mike Malone 100/1
Terry Stotts 25/1
Luke Walton 40/1
Earl Watson 100/1
Jeff Hornacek 25/1
Steve Clifford 50/1
Kenny Atkinson 150/1

Brad Stevens at 7/1, Quin Snyder at 14/1, and David Fizdale 30/1 stand out as the bets I would make if I believed letting someone hold my money for that long made any sense.

Barring multiple injuries is there really any chance for the rest of the league this season with Team USA formed up on Golden State? I don't even see Lebron being able to overcome them this season.

- Ingram plays like a 3&D last night. DLo still struggles with his TOs and inconsistent shooting.
- I like Jazz's starting unit of Exum, Hill, Hayward, Diaw and Gobert. That is Spurs lite.

Yeah. Even though Ingram struggled to get looks on offense (or didn't look for them) in the Kings game, I think it appeared like he's gonna be a great team defender, and very good man defender. I still think Simmons was the right choice but I would have loved Ingram on this team.

Angelo Russell is on fire. I think he's got 20pts in the 1st half.

Another great game for him today. Russell is going to be a very good offensive player in this league as long as he gets put in the right role. He's never going to be a CP3/Wall-type quarterback but if someone else can share that load he's gonna get buckets. Simmons would have been the perfect young guy to pair him with.

DLO looked great in the two games against the Nuggets. He's much better playing off ball and shooting on spot-ups rather than a heavy playmaker like CP3. Looked like a great fit with Simmons and Embiid, much better fit than KP. For now, he's the guy I'm mad we didn't end up with in last year's draft.

I like him a lot more off the ball than as a point guard. Having Simmons run your team allows you to get maximum value out of guys like Russell.

The passing on this team would have been crazy if we would have ended up w/ Dlo.
