Its a 2022 1st that is protected, and doesn't go unprotected until 2025. Chances are they will get a pick in the 20s. It just seemed like the market for CP3 would've been higher imo. So I'm surprised they only got 1 pick, and basically just expiring deals out of it.

Paul was never discussed by Sixers.

Well it was proven otherwise like 3 years ago

I never heard of him before. Was he the first to say Paul to Phoenix? He has been super confident and starting fights with a Suns reporter about it.

For my official tally on his predictions, I can’t remember if I heard it elsewhere tho.

You're still talking about a 35 year old with an injury history and 2 years, 85.5M on his contract.

He had a great season, but is still overpaid and a major risk. The only reason a guy as good as him was even talked about so much around here was due to that risk driving down his trade value.

ESPN had it as a rumor a while ago. But it’s more that he has a history of making stuff up and he’s even admitted in the past. Like look at his bio he claims he broke the Kamala Harris as VP news lol. He’s a random guy on Philly sports Twitter that thinks it’s funny to troll people.

That's interesting as hell. Morey and Doc must be committed to Ben at point, or they've lined up a deal for another starter quality point guard.

Looks like the fight occurred because the Suns guy had the story two weeks before Vin did.

That's lower than I think a lot of people thought the Thunder would get, but still, you have to give Presti respect. He traded for Paul at a time when his contract was viewed as the worst in basketball and got picks as compensation, then traded Paul for positive value assets while Westbrook remains untradeable.

The Thunder essentially own the draft through the next decade, and that isn't counting the tradable pieces he is accumulating to get more picks now or at the deadline.

I feel like he'd confirm that you're gonna get heads before flipping a coin, project extreme confidence about it, and then rub it in everyone's face how he was the first to report it if he ends up being correct.

Yeah. Green, Rubio and Oubre are all very flippable assets. It'll be interesting to see if Presti's willing to take on some bad money to get even more out of it.

Just read a report saying the Pels would prefer to move him east. No mention of the Sixers but it certainly improves their chances.

I feel like Horford for Hield and then a draft move up for a guard is gonna be the big moves this offseason.

I don't like Simmons....I would not trade Simmons for a 31 yr old Harden.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
