I'd hate to be a Portland fan and read that proposal.

It's just not reasonable to participate in the trade market this year, unfortunately.

Only fools will do. All the assets in the market are product of pumped and dumped.

Look at how Raps is suddenly playing Boucher

Furk, Thybulle, Springer, Reed for Hart works contract-wise, cuts a little salary, and essentially gives up all of our youth.

“if you would like to have this conversation with someone who might care about your opinion.”

This is a clear abuse of the power you have on this forum. Banning someone because you don’t like their opinion is a clear breach of rules.

I was having a fair argument with a member on this board & giving my honest opinion on why I disagree with them.

If you have a problem with my actions as a moderator on this forum, you are very welcome to report my posts or send a message with your complaint to another moderator. Mods aren't perfect and if another Mods thinks I have handled your situation in error, I will happily apologize.

However, part of my responsibility on this forum is to give Sixers fans a comfortable place to chat with eachother about our team and any other topic that may find its way into particular threads. As someone from outside this board, when your posts are reported by our community it is my responsibility to make a judgement call, in light of our forum rules, on how to respond to those reports.

To me, and other posters here, this situation came across like this:
Context: "Embiid snubbed from all star starting spot"
Random Poster: "wow, Philly fans must be pissed, i'm going to go make sure they understand Embiid isn't as good as they think he is"

While this may or may not have been your intent, but you picked a bad time to try to force your opinion, into a place where people had no desire to hear it, while calling them (or maybe just the way they reason) childish. I would classify that as trolling. Granted, this is basically how Instagram and Twitter function, so I understand that it could be confusing to you, however, as I do have the ability to intercede on this platform and try to reduce the amount of trolling that happens, I did.

You are welcome to continue this conversation with me via a direct message, or to another mod. Therefore, to continue it in this thread would be off topic, which would result in me requesting another, longer, removal of your posting from this board.

Thanks.
Foshan

And Portland would probably still want a 1st tacked on.

Cam is in IDGAF mode, trying to get traded. Not a good look, but I can't blame anyone for not wanting to be in that trash lockerroom. Even if he, himself, is not necessarily part of the solution, in that regard.

I suppose it depends on what they are trying to do. Thybulle is a better defender and will likely demand a similar contract after this season. Reed would probably be their second best defender after Thybulle.

There's definitely value in the trade if they're trying to expand their defensive options while adding salary flexibility.

Hart is a quality role player, but he's clearly not moving the needle for the Blazers this year since they suck. I don't really get the first round pick valuation.

Right now, he isn't good enough to get minutes on another team unless he's played as a tank commander, his numbers don't amirite the opinion he has of himself.

You can put House as salary filler and retain Springer and/or Reed. It makes the trade a lot less possible but we also need some of those guys in a case of an injury

Just did a foolish thing and went to the GB. Topic was about Ben Simmons being sent to the G League to learn how to shoot, LOL.

Yea, that's what he needs. Why did we think of that? I said from roughly the middle of his season in LSU that this dude was never going to even be an OK shooter. His form was hilariously bad and it was clear he was avoiding the issue even in college.

Alright, staying over here where it's safe. The GB is just for the lowest common denominator of each fan base can post troll-y takes to incite the emotion of other fans. The idea that Embiid's performance today is to be discounted because he wasn't defending Jokic out on the perimeter (thus taking him away from the place he defends the best) is such a blatant form of trolling, it's not worth reading.

Jokic got locked up by a 37 year old that’s 8 inches shorter than him. But somehow Embiid gets heat for not guarding him. Massive loser energy lol

I will say, the beginning of that thread is very funny at how hard every fan of every fanbase was drooling over Jokic and ripping Embiid only to run into the buzzsaw that was the second half of the game.
