I wish Houston was my favorite NBA team.

Scoot looked pretty good from the highlights. But he’s gonna have a learning curve because he seems a little too eager to settle for step back midrange jumpers. I’ll be curious how his finishing is at the NBA level too.

Wemby is gonna have some enormous growing pains this year. He’s gotta get it out his head that he can be a ball handler at the NBA level. But he’s also not a good screen setter right now, due to his size & inexperience. He’s gonna need to prove he can shoot because pick & pop is probably gonna be his most natural NBA role for now.

Scorers always know how to score. Would have loved to grab a second to get him.

Jaden Hardy really provides a nice buffer to Kyrie and Luka if either of them are cold. He’s so nasty.

Tre Mann is definitely too good to be playing summer league. To be fair, basically the entire OKC roster shouldn’t be playing in these games.

Terq can be something if he hits the weight for his entire rookie year.

It’s crazy how comfortable Council is handling the ball with either hand. He needs to be the main guy for the Blue Coats next year.

I mentioned is prob signing Louis King to a real contract soon; the fact that he played one game and haven’t seen him since feels like that’s the likely future (unless he got injured or something that I don’t know about).

Yeah a 4-year Hinkie Special for Louis King would be great. Time to give he and Springer mins on the big club and see how it goes.

Pleasantly surprised by how active he is defensively

Yea, he’s really showing up defensively. Very impressive for someone who didn’t care at NC State.

He has a nice little set shot out to 3. This game is the first time he hasnt shyed away from it. He has to realize that's going to be his bread and butter in the NBA if he makes it not putting it on the floor or posting up. Despite solid size doesn't look to be much of a rebounder or rim protector.

Yeah, I mean, he's taking most of his 3s off the dribble which seems uncomfortable for him. But man, he can get into the teeth of the defense and cause some issues. Nice to see him get some buckets today.

Wizards rebuild is off to a good start. Getting Patrick Baldwin in that Poole trade was underrated & Coulibaly has massive potential. I find myself rooting for Johnny Davis too after he was the league’s punching bag last season.
