Signing multiple year max extensions to two rapiding declining players then sucking all season to lose your pick it's too much of a hit for any fanbase. Plus we are a big market who's going to transition to a new arena soon. A new arena we made sure the NBA was ok with.

It's unlikely they give us Flagg, because it's not like we are starving for talent or some kind of hope, and we also don't deserve such big of a prize. But i don't see it's good business to make us lose our pick, they are going to make sure we keep it (i hope at least lol).

That being sayed, if they really want Flagg to make noise quick, we are a good destination, great basketball fit, big market and a team that if everything goes right could contend as early as his rookie season.

So i was 100% right. Disgusting and evident rigging by the NBA giving Dallas the #1pick,it's clear it was part of the Luka deal. Also they made sure we keep our pick.

Dallas was an even better destination for Flagg business wise, make those Dallas fan feel hope again, and he's going to play in a good team that can make noise from day one. Plus it's a great basketball fit.

Empty vessels make the most noise.
Instead of yapping about it being rigged, explain how it was possible. I’m guessing you never watched the drawing of the balls or else you wouldn’t be making such comments.

Even Lebron admitted recently that the Draft is often rigged.

I guess he knows a little bit more about the NBA behind the scenes workings than some random dude on RealGM trying to sound smarter than the rest.

Of course he does. He's effectively Adam Silver's boss, but that time is coming to an end. For now, LeCorn is playing both sides because most adults realize the NBA results are heavily influenced to maximize profits. Storylines and drama bring in more eyeballs/dollars than the actual X's and O's. Now throw in mainstream mobile gambling and the league is cooked more than ever.

If you think it's a coincidence 3 superstars in their prime were dealt to an LA team (CP3 to Clippers, AD to Lakers, Doncic to Lakers) and the teams that traded them happened to land the top pick (2012 Hornets 2.8%, 2019 Pelicans 6%, 2025 Mavericks 1.8%) then idk what to tell ya.

I used to get mad when ppl called the NBA the WWE when I was a kid too lol. And back then it wasn't as blatantly obvious as this.

All of this ^^^^^^^^^

The point where I knew it was rigged was the Knicks getting the 1st pick when it was Patrick Ewing. It's been one "coincidence" after another.

Unfortunately for Memphis, they're in that group of franchises that aren't on the "high priority" level at the NBA offices.

Man I'd take Harper first he gonna be a stud but if Ace there at 3 we good either way. Harper is the superior prospect and like the fit with maxey, Mccain and grimes.
