I'm just glad it wasn't a back/knee/foot/arm/leg/anything-serious injury and the season is close to being over (along with having the easiest schedule remaining). He should definitely be back by the start of the playoffs at the latest IMO.

Side note: I really hope Richaun takes this opportunity to force Brett Brown's hand to make him the backup center come playoffs (depending on the matchup).

so jojo inexplicably lost control of the ball, was suppose to be a handoff to fultz, but jojo drops it and bends down to grab it at the same time fultz comes around

This sucks. I’ll be at the game in Atlanta tomorrow. Hopefully Embiid recovers by the playoffs. It’ll be good to see Fultz & Holmes get some big minutes.

Actually, the only teams we beat this year without him were playoff teams.

Well i can see how they might've not seen the fracture right away, sometimes that happens right after the event. Ok maybe like once in a blue moon.

But they also wrong about him having a concussion......I mean really?!?!??

They should've been able to at least find that....they need to be cursed out, and fired for malpractice at this point.

If Jojo said he was feeling ok and wanted to go back into the game, is there any doubt in anyone's mind that bunch of idiots would've let him play??!?!

I’m confident Embiid will play in the first round of the playoffs. I have no sources. I just know Embiid. If he’s close but not 100% he will play.

I'll predict that Embiid comes back at the playoffs or a few games in with one of those masks. I don't think he wants to miss out on the playoffs over something like this.

I understand many concerned about who gets the scoring load but its really defensively that this decimates the team.

We might be able to outscore tanking teams if we really ramp up the pace but you can't control that as much in the play-offs.

Brutal roadblock in an otherwise spectacular year.

This medical staff diagnosed him with a sprained knee....he went to the hospital and they figured out it was a concussion and fracture
