Can you back up this serious accusation? It's honestly a ridiculous comment.

I mean, here's a guy who's playing basketball in the NBA...A sport that is predominantly made up of African American individuals and he's a...Racist? I'm sorry, but that just doesn't make any sense to me what so ever....

His claim is absurd without evidence but yours is just as, if not more, asinine. This is even worse than the "I have a black friend" argument.

The guy is religious. He saw Trump as the religious candidate. He's stupid, not racist. You are going to need more evidence than he made a donation to Trump.

Also, what's wrong with education reform? It was carefully selected by the NBA as one of the options. Many other players also wore it.

edit: I meant he was stupid for viewing Trump as the best candidate for a Christian, not that he's stupid for being religious. I am not religious but don't judge those who are.

Sam Harris disagrees with you...

There's definitely a positive correlation with people who play basketball and people who aren't racist. Just as there is a positive correlation with (non-black) people who have a black friend and people who are not racist.

Sure, it might not be a strong correlation but racism is rooted in ignorance and not interacting with people who look different from you. Just being around people of different races significantly reduces your chances of being racist.

Take a look at the shirt he had during the BLM movement and then the one that everyone else had on lol.

Education reform is what he chose.

In light of the movement and when every member of his team are advocating for freedom and equal rights, it definitely raised eyebrows.

Donald Sterling definitely learned. He's not racist at all.

I’m just reporting the news about why people feel negatively toward him. The Education Reform thing is a complicated topic in the there are many agendas for people who use that tag with some being good & some being bad. I also think religion & racism are closely intertwined, especially in America, so that doesn’t explain away anything.

Hayward could be a perfectly nice dude or he could be a person I wouldn’t want to be associated with. Can’t really say because he seems like a fairly private guy with regard to his political & social views but it’s not something I’d spend much time thinking about. If I had to make a call, I’d probably side with eyetoma lol.

Bro, you should be embarrassed with yourself.

Here’s the list of players we could find from news sources who’ve chosen to wear “Education Reform” jerseys while playing:

Kent Bazemore (Sacramento Kings)
Ed Davis (Utah Jazz)
DeMar DeRozan (San Antonio Spurs)
Gordon Hayward (Boston Celtics)
Solomon Hill (Miami Heat)
Kyle Lowry (Toronto Raptors)
C.J. McCollum (Portland Trailblazers)
Markieff Morris (Los Angeles Lakers)
Marcus Morris Sr. (Los Angeles Clippers)
Georges Niang (Utah Jazz)
Garrett Temple (Brooklyn Nets)

Should we get rid of Georges Niang??

Apart from him everyone else is black. I'm not sure of Niang's political affiliations but I am of Hayward's.

Amusing that all you took was that post when everyone else was talking about how Hayward's choice was suspect, including Sixers Adam ( an aspiring journalist) who writes for the Ricky.

Didn't Harden want out of NJ because of Irving's nuckleheadedness?

If we trade for Kyrie, I’m fully prepared for Harden to come to camp 30lbs overweight and severely depressed.

I am not going to derail this thread even further. You clearly have some biases you might want to think through.
