It's being speculated that the Mavs may inquire about Okafor as the deadline approaches.

Give me Justin Anderson, 2nd rounder in 2017 and a 2nd rounder in 2018.

I'm on record that if BC can get a first round pick for Okafor without taking back a bad contract no matter how low he should be executor of the year.

We trade Okafor for Brandon Knight.

No insider info, just a gut feeling.

Brandon Knight might be one of the few players out there whose trade value has fallen even farther than Okafor's. At least Okafor has age and a rookie deal in his favor, vs Knight's outsized deal. I can't see this happening.

June. His value goes up in June. And if smittybanton's right, he'll come off the bench as a reserve, assuming of course Embiid will be severely limited.

Finney Smith and a first...a little bit of a projection, but he's had some nice play this year as another 3&D player.

Personally wouldnt mind finney smith..would def do okafor/stauskas for justin anderson and 2017 18 pick swaps would even do 2018 & 19 pick swaps hopefully with cuban thinking they can win immediately (dont see it).

What about this deal... which could be very likely. Andrew Bogut is pretty much leaving Dallas end of this season as a free agent... already confirmed he wants to leave to go to a contender... so Dallas are looking to trade him now to get some value.

Dallas need to replace Bogut with a big.... and Okafor would be perfect. Celtics also badly want a big guy that can defend to make them a contender... and have been named as 2 teams in the NBA that need Bogut the most to make them a contender (Houston the other) http://sports.cbslocal.com/2017/01/24/what-contending-nba-team-could-most-use-andrew-bogut/

Celtics also have more draft picks than they know what to do with (They have 4 x 2nd round draft picks this upcoming draft!! and have a 1st round draft pick from 2018 from Brooklyn on it's way too)

So........ would this be fair? Is it too much for Celtics to give up for a guy that is a 1 year rental that could potentially get them to the Eastern Conference Finals this year (and who would likely sign on as a free agent anyway)

Okafor ---> Dallas
Bogut ---> Celtics
2017 2nd round pick Celtics ---> Philly
2017 2nd round pick Dallas ---> Philly
2018 1st round pick Celtics ---> Philly

Kings are in dumb mode now. Okafor to the Kings to just get the pick altogether and not just via swap? Hield for a 3rd round pick???

shhh... don't tell Vlade only 2 rounds exist.

Well Pelicans are out on Okafor. Does this put the Kings IN however? Theyre going young and have assets suddenly, DO IT BRYAN!

So i'm wondering if the kings are in the market for an offensively gifted center who has had attitude problems in the past but seems over it now...
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Tyreke Evans, Galloway, Pelicans 17 #1 Pick sounds about right value for Okafor.
