Mitchells growing pains as a rookie averaging 20.5pts? How did he ever get over it. It's hilarious watching you homers think Maxey could even sniff Mitchell's jockstrap.

Why are you here?

Ben is still a Sixers player. the moment he is traded to another team, he will leave, except when we lose badly he will come here to laugh at us.

We will need Murray’s defence and he’s levels above Maxey & Shake NOW (maybe not career)

Thad - quality and expiring

Primo

Unprotected picks

That’s the equivalent of many 1sts and cap flexibility

White, Murray and call it a day.

I don't see a reason to trade Ben any time soon. Not sure why anyone is deciding on "settling". Everyone loves their team right now and has no real desire to make any major moves. Ownership isn't going to lose money from Ben. It's not the FO fault for this situation.

The only person losing here is Ben, tbh. We'll be a fringe playoff team, but if Embiid has a monster year, it just adds to his legacy. Ben is just going to lose a year of his prime. This was a uniquely stupid plan by Ben and his team. Oh well.

Teams "want" to trade players all the time. They can change their mind/if the value isn't there they don't trade them. The Sixers wanted to trade Iverson before 01 but couldn't find the right move and he convinced them that he would be better. The Lakers wanted to trade Kobe Bryant one summer. Celtics wanted to trade Pierce early in his career. Various teams offered players for Simmons all summer, you don't see any of those players sitting out.

Saying the Sixers thinking about trading him is "breaking up" with him is just some card game, you could just as easily say Ben "broke up" with Philadelphia by refusing to address his shooting over the years. Ben is the one saying he doesn't want to continue the relationship at this point.

Everyone with a pulse knows he’s gone

Only question is what’s coming back & when

Agreed!

Let the sixers take all the time they need, four years if they have to
keep our 150million and see simmons and klutch squirm.

Pritchard
Brown
Langford
Tatum
Williams
Nesmith

With Horford, Schroder, Smart as the vets.

That’s a nice as heck front 9. Going to be a hard outing all year imo.

Heat also look go to go this year

We are in trouble big time

Meh. The Sixers are still likely a playoff team.

But if everything goes wrong and they absolutely suck? Then Embiid suddenly needs to get that knee scoped and it's a stealth tank year. Revisit Simmons in the offseason. They have the perfect tank commander in Tobias. And give Maxey and Springer and Joe and Reed lots of playing time. Look to move Danny, and maybe Seth too?, for picks or young guys.

I can't imagine that's on the table. If it is Morey should definitely take that and be done

Call it in if that’s on the table give them shake back too. That would give some real optionality for future deals

Both of these guys have had serious health concerns over the past few years (Levert more so). I’d hate to see a double Ruland situation where we lose both of them due to career retirements from injuries.

I keep going back to Sexton and picks.

Sexton is a nonstarter for me because we would have to take back Klove to make the salaries work

And picks don't do much for me either. We have a small window.
