I'd be happy if we traded back into the 1st rd for Terrence Ferguson

probably more confusing for the defenses that have to play against us.

Imagine simmons at the top of the key and cov, fultz, biid, and tlc all spread out. Simmons to the basket at will.

I like the idea of drafting a 4 who brings something Saric doesn't. Bell tops the list, should be a defensive demon. Lessort looks intriguing, raw but really physical. Bolden is an athlete.

Bell, Hart, Jackson, then any of the longer wings like Dozier or Iwundu.

I'd be all for it. Probably would mean you'd have to trade or let Covington go though, for salary/fit reasons.

i always assumed covington could play a guard spot

This is it.

I said it a couple pages ago or so but take Bell #36 and one of White or Hart at #39.

Then if we want to ensure having enough shooters take one of Bacon, Thornwell at #46.

Fultz/Hart
TLC/Korkmaz/Thornwell or Bacon
Simmons/RoCo (never mind if Otto Porter was in fact signed)
Bell/Saric
Biid/Holmes

That's some ridiculous roster balance and haven't even spent a dime yet in FA or used Okafor + any future picks to add another big piece. The new Beast of the East begins it's journey this year!

Bad spacing of the starting 5 and too young the roster itself. And I'm not sure if Simmons will be able to guard 3s all the time.

Id be down for any of these guys.

Bell would give you another quality big off the bench. Could probably play minutes at both front court positions and provide a high motored big who will run the floor, block shots, scrap/defend and finish around the basket similar to Holmes. Bell+Holmes off the bench would give us a fantastic rotation of energy in the front-court and a change of pace to Okafor's 1-way skillset if he sticks around.

White can do a bit of everything as a jack of all trades combo guard and I think Hart could be a really good "veteran rookie" developmental pickup as a 3&D swing. Have him study Danny Green and push TLC to develop.

I think we need to try and find a shooter for sure and a depth big who can run the floor+block shots. Long actually wasn't all that bad last season so wouldn't be opposed to bringing him back cheap, but i think we certainly need a more stable contributor/shooter on the perimeter for sure.

Derrick White is just soooo intriguing to me. One year wonder as a 22 year old or not, he had a hole-less game this year. Like, there's nothing you can nitpick about his actual game.

- He's decently athletic and long
- He defends at a high level
- He handles the ball well
- He scores in volume (18+ ppg, 22+ ppg-per40)
- He distributes
- He finishes at the rim at a 68.1% clip
- He shoots 43.7% on mid-range jumpers
- He shoots 39.6% from deep on 1.7 makes per game

He's such an impressive looking player that it's almost too good to be true. Like he's ticking so many boxes for me that I'm getting suspicious.

Seems like Bryan wants to trade back into the first. I think Okafor is gone along with some second rounders.

his shot needs a major overhaul. looks like he flings the ball at an angle, so the ball doesnt follow a straight line path to the hoop, always hits the right side of the rim

i watched one colorado game this year, and it was when they played washington. fultz scored close to 40 points, singlehandedly beat them. dont remember much of white, i mean i do, but for other reasons.

another potential 2 way player to add to the core. i'm all for it

Kobblehead, Sixers trade up into 20's and Bell and White are on the board. Who do you take

Shawn Long was a hell of a find by Colangelo. I'm not sold on there being an upgrade over him in the 2nd round or through undrafted free agency.

I have a feeling they like PJ Dozier. Brought him in early in the draft process, he's big enough for SF but has the handles to be a SG. Colangelo could look at him like a Derozan type player.

I think the shot can be fixed, too.

the guy is intriguing to say the least. he has all the tools, but then you look at his shooting numbers and they're just...bad. if he can fix his shot, he's a very good starter in this league.

Yea, it's confusing how it's that bad because the form is there. I do think he has his left hand on the ball too long in his shooting motion. How easy that is to fix, if I'm even right about that, is uncertain to me. The release point looks good and he doesn't seem to be throwing it at the rim like some do with decent looking form. He definitely looks the part of an NBA SG and has the agility and smoothness. Even more alluring his his defense and ability to get steals/deflections. I just have a sneaking suspicion that the Sixers like him. Could be wrong though.

I like Derrick White a lot. If the Sixers end up getting him though, what is our guard rotation like? Would there even be a roster spot for TJ? I mean we'd basically have Fultz, White, Bayless, TJ, plus possible free agent signing and that is just at PG.

I gotta go with Derrick White. I know what I'm getting with Bell. And it's gonna be a really valuable addition. But if I'm right about Derrick White and we can combine him with Fultz in the backcourt, game over.
