I desperately want Michael Carter-Williams back to be that reserve PG.

We need a stud defender like him with length to play that position after years or shrimpy guys in that role.

Mike Scott + Zhaire Smith + Terrance Ferguson for George Hill? Do we need to throw in picks also?

He’s with NO? Assuming David Griffin doesn’t have much interest in Zhaire, maybe some seconds. I would be very hesitant to add any kind of first that may actually convey. If the cap salary savings next year, Zhaire, and a second doesnt get it done, I’d move on and find a better deal. I’m not a fan of throwing potential top 20 picks in deals for a low-end starter. With good protection I would consider a late first rounder.

I wouldn't include a 1st. I'd include Smith + 1 decent 2nd at most. Or 2 2nds with Ferguson instead of Smith. In either case Scott needs to go also as salary ballast, but I think they could actually use him as a backup 4.

But Hill would be perfect for us. Then sign a guy like Illy as our stretch-4 / smallball-5 and we're ready to roll.

Ain't happening. We all know you couldn't care less about shooting, but Morey does.

What happened with Noel? Dwight became available, so they immediately pivoted?

I'd rather have Noel than Dwight, and especially so if it was for a long term slightly larger deal like 3-12.

Milton, Thybulle, Maxey, Howard should be solid 2nd unit rotation pieces.

Because Harrell is a trainwreck of a personality and he was borderline unplayable in the playoffs.

Wonder if there's any chance that Paul Millsap signs for the tMLE? I guess the Nugs will have to keep him now?

Bertrand getting a big deal was inevitable, now can he repeat last year again?

Come on, Daryl. Josh Jackson for the full MLE. Easy decision, make the call.

Too late, Detroit.

Not gross, Jackson is an elite defensive player with shotcreating abilities. Maybe he doesn't have the intangibles to fufill his star potential, but he can still salvage his career and be an excellent playoff contributor given those defensive and shotcreating abilities he possesses.

Man, free agency is a bad bet if you're not getting a max guy (especially in terms of guys that get above the MLE but less than the max).

Denver may be getting Blake Griffin back in S&T for Plumlee and Grant. If he's healthy they're dangerous. He's never healthy though.
