I wonder if he means off the court or on the court....or could it be both.

Okafor is like the Hound. Left for dead on the rocks flies buzzing around him. Then a few seasons later he is alive and well and is a good guy that fans like and cheer for. WTH !!! :D

With his hashtag saying slim I don't no think it has anything to do with on the court. I think he's just saying bye looks good just looking at him. That's all. They aren't even playing yet anyway.

Believe that was during Brown's coaching clinic when Okafor was literally on a basketball court but it was about his phisique.

Can I get a list of which Sixers aren't in the best shape of their life this offseason?

If he could improve on positioning, he has the size to be a better rebounder.

His value is so low, any improvement would be good.

Okafor would be a good finisher with Saric or Simmons.

Okafor doesn't have to be a star. He could be productive off the bench.

An 8th man on a good team with a reasonable contract.

1) Even if he somehow managed these stats, it wouldn't show that he's a positive player. PER favors empty scorers like Okafor. If he wants to prove me wrong, he has to be a positive player and make his teammates better.

2) Want to signature bet?

Yeah I gave him the same avatar I'm using. I'm pretty sure he was confused for me at least once when we were posting in the same thread.

What I'm hoping for at this point is he improves to the point of regaining some trade value maybe as part of a larger deal in the offseason.

I don't think we can keep him from a salary standpoint if he plays well (2yrs left) and if he doesn't I'm not sure we want to keep him. So one way or another things are coming ahead for Okafor.

Okafor has to make some extreme adjustments to his game. Defense, rebounding, and ball movement are some areas he should be working on. Losing weight, agility exercises, and practicing with good playmakers may help.

He can already finish well near the basket. With Simmons, Saric, Fultz, and other playmakers, he needs to find ways to be a target without clogging the paint. Should be interesting to see if he can transform into a more positive player.

Only 6 more pages until they lock this nonsense.

It's no surefire thing that Okafor is going to struggle forever. You're consistently beating a dead horse as much as anyone trying to fend for him. Let's see how this third year plays out.

You are absolutely correct. That's why I can't wait for this thing to be closed.

I don't see it as extreme. There will always be value in the guy you can give the Ball to and he can score without a play called. Okafor can do that. What he needs is something to fill the chest cavity. He needs some dog in him. However those traits you either have them or you don't

seemed like he was running with the dogs when he faced a gun to his head in Philly and punched out a rowdy Boston fan, in Boston, after hours. i'm glad that all came to a screeching halt, though i will say he was playing about as good as we ever saw just before the tabloids broke. (course, who knows when his knee started to flare.)
