If just cut out Utah… I don’t like the idea of going ‘all in’ on a deal that still leaves us missing a starter, hoping to fill vial FA.

I’d rather keep Maxey and start PJ at PF and Hayward is a plus if we keep him healthy

Totally fair to say Maxey/Hayward/Washington is on par with or better than Mitchell/O’Neale/Gay.

My biggest concern this off-season has been whether or not Maxey can be our go-to scorer down the stretch in the playoffs. Mitchell puts that worry to rest, but I understand holding out hope for a 22-year-old Maxey.

Ideally, you get Washington and Hayward then sign Prince with the MLE.

Justin Holiday and Trey Lyles
2 guys fairly deep in the Kings rotation that would actually be great fits for our bench

Wonder if Thybulle, Niang and a 2nd would get a deal done?

Pacers:
Hield
Turner
TJ McConnel

Sixers:
Tobias
Thybulle
Springer
Milton

Pacers do it for upside of Thybulle and Springer, Dumps TJ’s salary for mostly a year of rental for Myles Turner.

Sixers after the trade

Maxey
Harden
Melton
Turner
Embiid

6th man:
Hield and Niang = Bombers
Reed and Bassey = In charge of defense

Thinking the same thing. Do the Charlotte deal and sign Tucker and we're ready to roll.

Sixers trade: Tobi and Thybulle
Sixers receive: Bogdanovic and Boucher (S&T 3/33)

Jazz trade: Gobert and Bogdanovic
Jazz receive: Tobi, OG, and Khem Birch

Raptors trade: OG, Boucher(S&T) and Birch
Raptors receive: Gobert and Thybulle

This works on Fanspo’s trade machine…not sure if actually possible for Toronto to take on that much cap tho

Sorry to burst your bubble. But Raps roster is built to not be reliant on a defensive anchor C.

Jazz:
Tobias
Thybulle
Bassey
Milton

Sixers:
Gobert
Clarkson

Jazz:
Mitchell
Conley
Thybulle
Tobias
Bassey
6th: Milton

Jazz improves their perimeter defense and goes light on their “Gobert centric” defensive scheme. Jazz also dumps Gobert’s contract over Tobias who expires way earlier.

Sixers:
Maxey
Harden
Melton
Embiid
Gobert
6th: Clarkson

Best defensive team in the league, best halfcourt offense and 6th man for added offensive firepower

PJ Washington should be the target. Just as good as a rim protector, not as good as a rebounder but way better as a shooter and contract.

Their only shot at him was via trade anyway, so you could argue this improves that. Ain't happening either way unless the REALLY like Thybulle.

I continue to see Tobias as part of the solution - not the problem. Don't think his play was a problem in the playoffs either and he is completely playable in 2 positions if PJ Tucker is signed.

The Sixers are in need of:
1 - a starting or key role player at the 3 (ideally a wing player who can shoot and defend competently) to replace Danny Green
2 - a backup center (ideally one that can play the 4 too - this may be PJ but i'm sure Doc will have the team get a 7 footer too)
3 - a back up porwer forward (which again, may be PJ)

Sounds like 2 and 3 may be sorted via free agency with PJ getting that less than ideal 3 year contract.

That leaves the starting wing so that Thybulle's minutes can be limited. I see 2 choices here:
- Doc has Thybulle develop a competent 3 ball
- The team trades Korkmaz / Niang + pick for a competent wing player, ideally one who is on the team's timetable

Difficult to pinpoint an ideal candidate for that extra spot - actually easier to find solutions via trade for the other problems!
