Forget 50 wins and forget winning a series if he’s not back in time for the playoffs. If Jo wasn’t here I doubt we even make the playoffs. Good luck coach.

Its time to show the world we are more than just JoJo...

We will never become a real contender if we cant win games without Embiid.

We should be able to win against Hawks (twice), Brooklyn and Mavs without Joel
And also 1 of Charlotte/Detroit.
So we end up with 49 W's. Let's hope it's enough for HCA.

I would even say we can win against Indiana and Washington without Joel.

Time for Fultz to take on a bit more responsability.

But we are deep enough now to get through the first round, even without Joel imo (unless we play Cleveland).

Haha i also like for Fultz to step up but its more on Amir and Holmes on this one.

I'm not gonna force myself to feel bad for Embiid after he almost destroyed Sabonis' ankle intentionally, but I do feel bad for the Sixer fans. The Sixers were starting to look pretty scary, and I think you would have locked up that #3 seed. Now, it seems like the Cavs will end up as the #3 seed given their weak ass schedule.

We can change things up to cover the scoring load....such as playing at a crazy pace, shoot lots of 3's and fingers crossed we nail them. Our remaining players, lead by Ben can look after that.

ciology is right though....its up to Amir and Holmes to look after the rim defensively. JoJo is irreplaceable on that end.

You are a POS and an idiot. Embiid was pushed in that situation.

Yeah....when he went down to one knee in the tunnel that should have been a clear indicator. Not for our team of incompetents though.

That’s what I thought too. I thought he may have been about to throwup at that point.

I think he plays game 1 of the playoffs with a mask. That’s what I’m holding out hope for.

I would be really surprised if Embiid played in the 1st round. I think some people are being overly optimistic

Why?

He has a fracture that needs surgery. The main issue is his concussion. Once he's had surgery he can fit with a mask, and then play. As long as his vision is impaired there's a pretty good chance he plays.

As Cho said, if it's merely about being cautious I actually think they'll let Embiid play at the start of the first round (he thinks they will be cautious). I feel Embiid has too much sway in getting to play, to be honest. I also think Scott O'Neill will have some pull in ensuring that he plays to maximize playoff games to help ticket sales.

It all depends on severity. Etan Thomas missed 28 games with an orbital fracture with surgery. Jason Terry missed 5 with surgery.
