Luke Walton pulled Lonzo to prevent him from getting his triple double.

LOL that's been happening in every Lakes game this year it seems. Lonzo mysteriously ends up with stats he never earns. They even tried to give him 2 points in a game before the broadcasters noticed and called them out on it and it got changed

Lonzo out here breaking records. He is the quickest in NBA history to have 6 games where he has scored less than 10 points whilst taking 10 or more shots. Did it in 9 games

You know what is even more hilarious about you posting this though. Nick (BBALLBREAKDOWN) was posting this to show how ridiculous Lonzo fans are. He was being sarcastic and pulling the pi55 out of Lonzo homers. You thought he was actually validating the "Lonzo Effect"

I'd troll Lonzo but I just know it would end in him dropping 40 on our heads in the upcoming game

so I will refrain

I’m pretty sure Lavar works off the premise that there is no such thing as bad publicity. He has to.

Just a forewarning, I’m going to be stricter with baiting in this thread.

Baiting whom? Sixers fans or other teams fans?

Primarily other Sixers' fans.

'Baiting' other team's fans isn't even a consideration until they actually post here, if they were to and were antagonized for simply doing so then I'd probably consider that baiting. That's not what I was referring to though. What's considered baiting on the General Board isn't the same for team's forums.

Going off his current percentages he would need to take around 53 shots to drop 40. I'll take it

Has anyone brought this one up?

Maybe Lonzo’s comparison is MIKE CONLEY.

Like Lonzo, Conley is not a scorer in college. Both averages just 11-14ppg. Comfortable in scoring in low volumes but contributing on other aspects like assists and steals.

Not being a scorer and shooter also lead conley to have difficulty in his rookie year. I believe he averaged 9ppg with 40+fg% (way higher than lonzo tho) shooting.

And in a big picture, I find Lonzo’s projection given his NCAA and limited sample size in NBA in the same ceiling as Conley’s. Great player for a winning team, but just a borderline star at best type player.

But yeah.. based on what we are seeing with Conley now, Lonzo will have to make big leap on his shooting to reach that Conley ceiling.

Currently, my worst case for him is MCW. Best case, Mike Conley.

Nah. Conley didn't ever shoot as terrible as Lonzo has never in his entire career. Also what kept in the league during that time was his elite level defense. Lonzo has improved his defense via effort to the point where he isn't terrible but he doesn't have the traits to ever be good.

PG's like Fox and Irving can blow by him at will. The guy he most reminds me of honestly is Euro PG pick any of them Sergio, Milos, Rubio. Guys who can make the flashy passes but struggle to keep upto the position physically
and whose shot is shaky.

I think his most likely sort path is Rubio. His best if everything hits and he figures out his shooting is sort of Calderon a guy who struggled to beat his man off the dribble and finish but could sling it around the perimeter execute set plays and drain the 3.

Yeah I'm not a fan of Lonzo but I'm starting to feel a lil sorry for him.

They spend most of last night on Inside the NBA making fun of him, and his brother who has nothing to do with Lonzo....alot of pressure on him really (cause of his dad) which can also lead to struggles and break even the strongest of people.

That said, it was still hilarious. Nothing wrong with a joke, he's making millions now so he isn't a kid anymore as soon as he signed that contract. If you can't take the heat, stay out the kitchen....and in the case of LaVar or anyone else talking all that noise like that, they should be in that kitchen also, cause we are in the same kinda kitchen with Fultz being just another 'injury' for us.
