Achiuwa is a free agent. So Mitch Robinson and Jericho Sims. I’d assume they experiment with some Randle small ball 5.

Think the priority now should be bring back Melton for cheap and hope his back is fixed.

I think it's kinda crazy that Jonas Valanciunas signed for 3/$30m and Hartenstein signed for 3/87
almost 3x as much for someone who may not better. Much less, 3x better?

Damn where have I heard this before. Oh yes there are some that think Ben Simmons is a forward and other think he is a PG if he could just improve his shooting and keep defenses honest. Some things in 76ers land never change.

You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.

Naaw too much risk. Backs are really tricky too. Time to move on from that. Can't have 3 of our most important players being super injury prone.

Yeah it's kinda wild, but what Hartenstein can do is much more in demand at the moment. Mobile defender who fits well into a more spaced-out, rotating offense too.

If we got him for cheap he wouldn't be that 'important.'
I think someone takes a risk on him for the MLE though.

I think the Gordon signing means that Melton is not coming back.

Could work out, but I would find it hard to bet on it.

I think the top priority now is a forward who can defend and rebound. Herb Jones type.

Who will be this year Oubre (i.e. young guy on 1 year prove-it deal at the minimum)?
Miles Bridges? Fultz? Bey?

Any interest in Trent Jr?
Sixers still need a starting SG. I don't think it'll be Gordon and it certainly won't be Oubre, not sure why ESPN keeps penciling him in as a 2.

Ben Simmons was being touted and relied upon like a superstar. Paul Reed is a role player. Reed has the lateral quickness to defend at the 4 spot. Ideally you'd want him to have a more reliable three-ball if he is going to play there. My fear is with Reed on the floor, our defense and rebounding improve, but we're playing 4V5 on offense. It's not out of the question to assume he's working on his shot right now as we speak. He was able to take and make threes for us last year. Maybe he improves? He seems like a worker, so I'm not counting him out just yet. He was clearly undersized at the center position. If Nurse sees shades of Siakam in Reed, then so be it. If we end up trading him, then that's fine too. If there's a deal out there, I'd gladly take it. What are your options? Who do you see as a viable fit at the 4 spot? I understand Paul George will probably be there, but we still need someone else. What names do you like?

I mean if Woj added it then the Oubre’s agent must of told him that we promised him that. I think it’s more certain then not that he is the starting 2.

I'd be down for it; I think I saw or heard something that he was actually really good on catch and shoot.

I thought that, but that might have just been his own commentary. Oubre has always played more of a forward type role. Shooting has never been his strength it would be odd to play him as a SG with Embiid who needs shooting. At the 3 or 4 though he's a far superior fit.

With Drummond and Bona - I feel very good about our front court. Reed was a borderline small ball Center who can’t shoot that well
