It's vinsider time baby....
Just in case people aren't sure, this guy has zero sources. It's being posted because people find it amusing. Trade still could happen, but he's never been right.

My favorite part of that line of argument is that Raptors fans have been coming over here for months acting like we've never seen Lowry play. Somehow I am not allowed to have an opinion on a guy I've been watching since middle school but they are experts on all 30 teams.

My sources are saying Tobias Harris needs to be traded first and Ben needs to play 4.

I wouldn't say he has never been right. He was right on the Daryl Morey hire, the CP3 to Suns trade, the AD trade, Harper signing, Wentz trade, and Girardi hiring.eyeatoma wrote:It's vinsider time baby....

He's a troll, no doubt about it. But he does get some right because I legit think he has sources, but rather than parce out what he hears he simply posts all information as if it's a done deal.
Is Philly talking to Chicago about LaVine for Ben? Probably. Would they have an idea of what players they'd want involved? Most likely. If someone he knows heard about this, he posts it as a legit trade even if it's not final, or even close to final. He uses vague words like "could be headed".
It's just his trolling thing.
I don't believe it all, but I do believe he knows different people that feed him info from time to time.

Nah he's just guessing and sometimes he's right. There's only so many scenarios after all. The key is to have no shame.

Re: Ben Simmons Trade Thread
If Sacramento is willing to part with 3 1sts, Hield and Bagley, is there a way to turn that into Dame?
Say Sacramento offers #9, 2023 FRP and 2025 FRP...
Flip #9, the 2023 FRP to Portland along with PHI '22, '24, and '26 FRPs now that they would get the '25 from SAC bypassing the Stepian rule...
Throw Shake, Hield, Bagley and 5 FRPs at Portland for Dame...complete rebuild in Portland, Sacramento gets their guy, Philly gets Dame without losing Maxey or Thybulle...

Come on, man, he's clearly just throwing out guesses, usually based on news stories and rumors that are already out there. He doesn't have inside sources with every organization in Philly and the NBA. Thinking a guy that's wrong 99% of the time is just trolling that 99%, but has a legit source when he's right is just silliness.

This lol. As has been said, there are only so many potential destinations for Ben. He's just throwing **** at the wall to see what sticks.youngcrev wrote:51X3RF4N wrote:I wouldn't say he has never been right. I don't think blue check marks are all the rage but the fact that he's not verified should also tell you something. Don't think I've ever seen a major trade broken in the NBA by someone without a blue check mark. I could be wrong but the vast majority are verified. Like 98-99%.

Exactly, it's fun to dream though. It's similar to a psychic making stuff up and getting things right because it is common sense. Lavine is an obvious target and a semi-possibility.
Then again, how far in advance did he announce the Morey thing?
Where is Fl311? I hope he's healthy and okay!

At one point he claimed he called the Kamala Harris VP pick lol. I see he's taken that out of his bio at least.

I have no idea whether the tweet has any credibility, but I would do that trade. Plug in Maxey at PG and bring Curry off the bench.

Yep... He's not right because of a 'source' He's right because he 'guessed' or because he parroted a rumor SOMEONE ELSE had a source for on the Internet and that turned out to be true.

Can't lie, I chuckled.
Back on topic, Simmons' value is at an all time low rn. The dude has regressed offensively. It'd be unwise to trade him now. The common perception about him is that he's a severely limited player who doesn't have the work ethic to improve on his weaknesses. Gotta pray he comes back with some semblance of a jump shot. Or play him at centre...

Then Ben's not being moved to Sac. Pretty much sums that up

Read a bunch that the publics view on Simmons isn't the same as top nba execs. Saying basically they still view him pretty highly.

And I suspect that's because he remains a physical freak of nature who can put fans in the seats and sell team merchandise with occasional dazzling plays, but that doesn't mean they view him as an integral piece of a championship contender. I don't think he'll garner in trade anywhere near what he would have two years ago for example.

This. Many ownerships just want to turn a profit.
