Exactly! Lavar is a f@kkhead par excellence, a nobody whos 5 minutes of fame and only connection to the league is his freshly drafted son. Hopefully Embiid proves to be the bigger man by not engaging with this @$$wipe anymore, realizes the mistake of having wasted his time on him previously and vows to conclude this matter professionally by shutting down lonzo every chance he gets.

I like Lavar. I don't known whh people hate him so much.

You dont feel that he speaks himself and his opinions into existence a bit too much?
I mean, he never accompilshed anything noteworthy himself that warrents the type of platform that he currently enjoys to spew his outrageous opinions about things he has no business talking about in the first place, creating situations that other people need to go out of their way for to rectify (Lebron's children or Kyrie's parents) or strategicaly maneuver around of because they have an employer that stands for virtuous values unlike himself.
Anyway, i hope Embiid does the right thing here and lavar will start acting more professionaly himself in accordance with an NBA player that he strongly associates himself with.

The fact that you're talking about him at all means that Lavar has already won. No one would know who he is if he didn't say or do the outrageous things he has done. He admitted to Magic in private that it's all marketing. He is capitalizing on the huge number of schmucks out there who are easily outraged. The controversy he created has generated him 10s of millions of dollars worth of marketing for free.

Im not sure if your post has anything to do with my post earlier but your simplifying things way too much by saying anyone who disagrees, automaticly crowns lavar the winner and generates 10s of millions for him.
In fact, i dare argue that if he only focused on hyping up lonzo and his product without stepping on established people's toes, he might have indeed generated 10s of millions already.
Provided his products wasnt overpriced crap of course.

It's America, and guys like Lavar Ball have every right to do what he is doing, and he is obviously getting what he wants, which is to be rich and famous.

I just find him annoying, and he is clearly a bad guy. Look no further than what he said about Lonzo's teammates at UCLA for everything you need to know about Levar Ball.

My advice to Joel would be to just ignore the trolls.

Lavar is not a bad guy. Come on. Has he said some dumb things? Sure. He says outrageous things. Look how hyped he made his son. He made his son so famous. Without Lavar Lonzo would be just another top prospect. But Lavar made this hypetrain so huge that Lonzo is selling out arenas. I like Lavar and just wish people would stop getting on him as if he's such a bad guy. He does a lot for kids in his area. He raised 3 good sons. He's just a loud mouth.

He's a Grade A ****... The NBA refuses to silence him but is okay penalizing their own players... BS

How and why would the NBA silence him? He's not employed by the NBA. Lavar can say whatever he wants.

What? The last thing Lavar is doing is hiding. Everyone knows where he is. I don't know what you mean by hiding. He doesn't work for the NBA. Not working for the NBA is not hiding from anything.

He knows the NBA can't touch him... He's a loud mouth bully that is emboldened by the fact that he has free speech because he doesn't answer to the NBA. While the players do... It's not an even playing field... He's like the annoying brother or sister that instigates something while hiding behind mom and dad sticking his tongue out you while you get reprimanded...

What he means is that players can't say anything inflammatory back to him for fear of being fined by the NBA. He can say whatever he wants to them and about them (even did that to Lonzo's teamates at UCLA), and they can't fire any bullets back at him.

So he is in fact, hiding behind the fact that he knows they can't say anything too bad about him. What Bron said in response about his kids was close as any of them could go, but he's Bron, he can do that.

I kinda feel bad for Lonzo a lil, he is going to have a target on his chest every night with guys coming at him.

Yeah. He's such an ankle weight he is going to have 3 kids get full scholarships to UCLA and already has one son in the NBA. Got it. The Lavar hate is ridiculous.

It seems Embiid should keep Lavar's name out of his mouth then. Easy solution.

Embiid started it by tweeting he hopes Simmons dunks on Lonzo so his dad hasn't to pick him up.
