If he is there for game 2, I would be ecstatic.

He's been like that this season anyways... Can't reign it in too much...

It may just help cut down some of the turnovers or he may be more inclined to pull-up for his J.

I'm actually more worried about him going for blocks, cause before this injury I assumed he would go more aggressively after blocks in the postseason, but after this injury I'm not so sure he will.

I’m thinking a more no frills Duncan type style.

Oh no, Jojo is getting bored in the hospital.

Might set his record in tweets tonight.

He just had surgery today, think when he mentioned that he was high, he's actually being truthful. Likely on a lot of pain meds.

I mean, analgesics are pretty great. There's a reason why they're so popular.

Embiid just 50% health and patrolling the interior defense is still better than anyone we got to defend the rim. The Hawks and Knicks drove the lane at will against the sixers without embiid. Thank god both teams are awful.

So if embiid can even give us 20 min on defense for game 1 of playoffs. That would be enough to win even with zero offense from embiid.

We need him on defense the most.

Idiotic New York writer,
“However, one of Embiid’s first comments after replacing Kristaps Porzingis on the All-Star team was about moving on from Rihanna.”

Dude thinks Embiid got on all star team due to Porzingis injury.

That’s why Knicks doesnt know how to run a team till now. The have very dumb and very outspoken media

Maybe I am reading too much into this Brett Brown press conference after the game but I am not very confident of Joel coming back quickly from this. This was Brown's quote.

"We gotta buy time for Joel, we really have to buy time for Joel and we owe it to him to do whatever we can to let him play with his team, our team again and we see the path to doing that is fighting like heck to get home court advantage and we feel we can control our own destiny if we can do that which allows us to give ourselves a chance to reintroduce him to the team."

Does that sound like as coach saying we need home court advantage in first week of the playoffs... to allow us to get to the second round and get Joel back? I can't see how home court advantage would be relevant to Joel coming back in the first round?

I would not put too much stock into what Brett said. I think Joel could be ready for the start of the playoffs but it is obviously preferred if we are able to stretch out the date of his return. One way of accomplishing this is by having home court advantage. By this token we only need to eek out 1 out of the first 4 games with having game 5 at home and a good chance to make a comeback with Jojo back. If we did not have home court advantage, it would be more difficult as it would require to win 2 games at the road. So yeah, in this way we could buy some time and let heal Jojo's injury properly.

1.) Biid will be ready for play-offs
2.) We prefer homecourt advantage
3.) Rihanna not replying

Hmm.. doesnt Rihanna has a crush on LBJ? We could see Rihanna watching Sixers games live if LBJ plays with our team

Ummmm... You want to go down 3-1 with Jojo coming back in game 5 and proceeding to win the next 3 games. Teams with a ton of experience find that extremely challenging, if that's management's plan then we can kiss advancing good bye... At most we can have him back for game three is the series is tied 1-1. But if we lost game 1 we would need him back for game two.
