Jimmy and Embiid cant function unless there is chaos around them...

I also wish Embiid would hop off jimmys sack. He a grown man with his own lane in the league. No need for that.

Embiid is so immature and it’s exhausting.

He’s never gonna grow up.

Have you ever seen a player trying to troll it’s fanbase by giving hints of leaving?

Even the players who wants to leave would say.. “i want to play here forever” or some sorts.

 Not this take. Jimmy Butler was never re-signing with the 76ers. He wanted to go to Miami all along and Minnesota refused to deal with Miami so he had to go through Philly to get to where he wanted.

And are people seriously suggesting that they should have sacked Brett Brown after getting to the Eastern Conference Semis and not running it back again? and dumping a 23 year old Ben Simmons for a 30 year old Jimmy Butler?

jimmy said something "happened". all the lil signs point to BB's style of offense and the idea of ben simmons as the primary ballhandler. who gives a **** about the coach really. the NBA is a players league. how many of us fans are in love with our current offense? 1%? 2%? almost everybody sees we suck on offense, despite all the talent we have. jimmy was right...

nobody said "dump" ben. hes a great talent, but he just doesnt fit. we always can get a good package for him that helps us more. and its not just about the "30y old grandpa jimmy". the consequences of this decision were the AWFUL contract of tobias and the AWFUL signing of a real grandpa horford. i dont know how anybody dont regret jimmy is gone.

Sometimes you live to play only 31 games in the first three years and the fans accept and cheer for you like mad, then sometimes you get booed just a little bit and act so immaturely about it that you leave people shaking their heads. Villain? More like needing to grow up, and I’m saying this as a fan that loves Joel.

That's just the new norm. You can't expect to make teenagers millionaires and expect them to grow up.

Yes because Brett Brown is a mediocre at best/terrible at worst coach and Ben Simmons is a defensive player with assisted point production and passing. He's not a real baller.

And still it would have made Zero sense last June... not this February. Hindsight is a wonderful thing... but lets be honest it was never going to happen.

I regret more that JJ Redick has gone than Jimmy. Shortish memories but Jimmy coasted through most of the regular season and looked very passive almost refusing to shoot at times as some sort of statement.

Yeah you could maybe blame that on Brett because Jimmy wanted to be the primary ball handler like he is in Miami.. but then Ben was the point guard so what did he expect coming in? It showed to me Jimmy like Joel sulked when he didn't get things his way. I actually give props to Brett for giving Jimmy the ball in that Toronto series and making him the point guard... yet Brett seems to get no credit for that at all.

I also had concerns with Butlers history of injuries to go all in and dump someone like Simmons. Nobody could possibly have seen him having the season he has had in Miami... given what he was like for most of his time in Philly and in Minnesota.

My point? He’s immature. You can see how he tried to make it up on his next post.

He acts based on his feeling. He is reacting, not acting.

For me, if you want to leave. Then leave.

The talent is plenty. And if you allow these things to happen then it will rot the entire team. Soon, you’ll see others threatening to leave.

As if you need a center to play nowadays.

Not to be that guy and bring him up so soon after his passing, but Kobe asked for a trade to the Bulls in 2007. Unfortunately, the Lakers let the "rot" take hold of the team for 2 more championships. Most teams would be on their knees begging Joel to stay with them.

How about everyone breathe for a second and stop being emotional about a tweet?

Add Paul Piece to that list, too.

Demanded a trade and then his front office went and traded for Garnett and Allen and won a championship.

If you have a bonfide stud upset, make it right with him and make appropriate moves to appease him.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
