Selfishly, I don't want to see Towns leave Minnesota or Siakam leave Toronto. Player movement sucks. I like when players stay in the same organization as longterm fixtures.

I love the contrary. I think you are getting a better overall product with player movement. Sticking when you are going nowhere gets you stuck, in most to almost every time. For instance if we had trade Ben earlier we could had a better product.

Siakam I can understand, but Towns has been on a dreadful T’Wolves for the entirety of his career. He doesn’t make a big enough impact for me to care about him being a long term fixture.

Siakim gets the friendliest whistle in the league. He must be infuriating to play against.

I think Raps will end up not being able to complete their 6’9” and above roster. Their top guys are just not that talented. With Siakam and Barnes, they need a lot of talent at the 1-2 position, and this is why they’re reliant on both FVV and GTJ up to now

And the team that can possibly complete that 6’9” and above roster is most likely the Magic and they can do that because of how talented Wagner and Banchero are.

Giannis playing too much international games is catching up with him. I think he has knee problems. Thats why his blocks numbers is down

Toronto straight up collapsed in the last 2 mins of this game. Only reason it’s still a game is because the Bucks missed wide open shots.

Just reading a related thread from the Gen board..

Franz Wagner has been the best player in the 2021 draft.

Seeing Nets-Spurs and Ben cannot score against the worst team in the NBA, he also is in foul trouble so missed almost entire 3th quarter

Siakam would give the T'Wolves an actual PF slasher who would open the floor for shooters. KAT gives a guy like Barnes a stretch 5. And Nurse probably gets Towns back to being an elite big after regressing these past few years.

Both need a fresh start elsewhere.

With the rumor that the T'Wolves are shopping DLO and discontent within the Raps, I'm sticking with the prediction that these two teams will make a big trade.

Siakam, FVV, Birch for DLO and KAT.

Usher in the Anthony Edwards era in Minnesota with an actual complementary piece in Siakam. Toronto keeps the amigos together and surrounds them with defensive forwards to mask DLO's deficiencies.

That would be a massive trade. Toronto kills it.

From Minny’s side: kinda tough fitting Gobert and Siakam? But it certainly improves their defense and gives them a better PG, both of which they need.

Think TOR has to kick in at least a 1st to get that done, though. Maybe 2.

Between last night and their OT game 2 weeks ago, Bucks-Raptors would make an awesome playoff match-up. Maybe Raptors can turn things around and we see this in the first round.

These asking prices are getting insane.

Who is SpursGM? Jordan Belfort?

They are so good in these pump and dump projects.

Isn’t this year’s championship so wide open?

Celts not having Rob Williams at 100%
Bucks not having Giannis and Middleton at 100%
Nets not having KD at 100%

Heat, Raps and Hawks all seems to have internal issues

West is at it’s weakest for decades.

Since offense has been OP this season, the biggest roadblocks I have is the Celts or a healthy Nets.

Mavericks feel prime for thieft. Have firsts between 2024 and 2029 available. Luka is turning on the heat (rightly so). The team around him would be lottery without him. A team would be a Doncic injury away from getting a great first rounder.

We don't have really anything other than Maxey to offer, but we're currently trying to win ourselves, so Morey's not going after firsts.

RIP Chris Ford. Classic Philly area guy, who was around the local basketball scene for decades.

Sadly, the title is Boston's to lose at this point.

Guys who I think will ask for a trade or be traded:
- Ayton
- CP3
- Booker
- PG
- Kawhi
- Evan Mobley (future)
