I think I would go Gordon because if he could develop a jumper he could be a special player.

Tier 1 - Wiggins/Embiid

Tier 2 -Parker/Exum

Tier 3 -Randle/Vonleh

and though not finished yet:

Tier 4 -Smart/Gordon

I wrote this same thing in the last thread. Then it breaks open after 8.

Yeah picks nine through fifteen are going to be a random mix and match. The next tier is probably:

Harris
McDermott
Stauskas
Nukic
Ennis
Young
Saric
Anderson

the likes of Payne and Capela are not far off either. I think we'll see Hinkie package some of our other 2nds or Thad to move up into the top eight. 10th pick may as well be 16th.

That is why I would consider 15 and our future first back from Orlando for 10, if Orlando had interest.

What's the protection on our 1st? If none or light no way Orlando does that

One report said that if the magic don't get our first by 2016, they get 2 seconds. I'll check a few more sources.

Lottery protected in 13 and 14. Top 11 in 15. Top 8 in 16, if not, then 2 seconds in 16.

Don't know how the pick we owe boston would affect this. Prob moot anyway.

Derek wrote lottery protected in 15 and 16, top 11 in 17, top 8 in 18, if not, then 2 seconds.

I think if a player they valued slid to 10, it would be possible. Otherwise, no point for Magic.

If Hinkie can trade up into the top 8, I'm all for it. If not and to your point, a trade down from 10 to pick up two other first round picks would be OK with me too. I'd rather give up any single player on your list above (and a 2nd rounder or two) to have any other two players on that same list.
“This may be one of the best jobs in basketball right now,” Colangelo said at a press conference introducing him as the new GM of the 76ers after Sam Hinkie resigned.
