Everything they said about BC is true. He hasn't learned a thing.

Might as well get mad now, so we can stomach it easier if it happens.

I like Teague (IIRC I was #teamTeague for Jrue's draft (didn't think Jrue would be there tbf)) but yeaaaah no. He's too old for our core. And I really rather not trade Noel for that. I don't mind moving him mind you (I know shocker considering how much I trashed Jah at times this year) but it needs to be for a similarly aged prospect.

The Hawks need to add much more to this package for it to work.

Well, remember the Sixers are no longer in "asset acquiring mode" so I doubt future picks from Atlanta are involved. How could they sweeten the pot?

I can only hope this was leaked on purpose as leverage against Boston and/or Phoenix in trade talks for the #3 or #4 pick.

Certainly Hinkie would never let word get out ahead of time on a potential trade.

Yeah, Teague is good but plays such a deep position and is middle-of-the-pack for his position. He is about to turn 28 and is a year from free-agency. And he may not be a good fit for Simmons.

I wouldn't make this deal.

How long until Bryan blows through all the assets and cap flexibility? I put the over/under at 3 years.

Even if ATL throws a sweetner this deal is going to be bad if finished, especially if Simmons is, like it looks the pick, Noel makes much more sense with him than Okafor, and even if they trust and love Embiid, I doubt they will risk moving both Noel and Jah in the same offseason.
I get that Noel is closer to been a RFA, but still, if you are moving him at least try to nab a guy like Schröder or Smart, not Teague.

If this goes down, then it's proof that that lying, backstabbing POS Josh Harris was full of crap.

This is a "shortcut to the middle" you no-good SOB.

He's obviously a good player and a > 40% 3 point shooter, but he's going to be 28 next season so his age doesn't fit with our core at all.

So basically he's in the same situation as Noel, just he plays a position of need and is 28.

Noel for Teague still wouldn't be a good deal if he was 25 and had 3 years left on his deal. This is beyond awful.

95% of the people posting here vastly overrate Noel. He's not even a starter on a decent team. If we trade him we're going to get something mediocre back like Teague. That's what his value is.
