Well, i might be optimistic to say that there's a good chance Sixers pick could convey next year if not for the deal. That should be our saving grace for that Saric deal.
That, and having Saric versus Patyon. And the high 2nd (which brought back 1.5m and 2 more 2nds).
Payton was always an awful fit with this team. And Orlando. But even more so Philly. Even if you are a big believer in Payton, he still doesn't ever make sense.
Exactly, we would still need wingers who can shoot plus lose our pic next year. Also might not get the Lakers pic for MCW because of a logjam at pg. I wish he was still here, would love to see his finish product.
