MVP, All-NBA 1st team and DPOY were the qualifications for Embiid's supermax, right?

Not DPOY but the other two.

Do you have a link? That's quite massive to be honest, without Embiid's late injury he was kind of a lock for DPOY because of Gobert's limited games.

I would give DPOY to Gobert over Embiid. I think Gobert player enough games.

With Embiid's recent injury I would give it to Gobert as well.

Embiid cleared of concussion by independent doctors, still no timetable for return

He's good. Just in time for the first game of the PO imho

Nice.

From what little we can see it doesn’t look like he is swollen. At least he doesn’t look like Rocky.

Alaa said yesterday he won't be reevaluated for 7 more days. So sounds like we won't have him for the first couple games at least.

I would imagine that this will be a fluid situation. Since the team has looked so good in his absence I would target game 2 if we lose game 1, and game 3 if we win it.

Just going off of the Flyers schedule I 'm assuming that game 1 would be Saturday, and game 2 on Monday.

I'll be really depressed if he can't go for game 1... The way he's acting, he seems like he'll be a go. I can handle him being out 1 game, and playing game 2, but game 3 is far too late...

Have no fear Ben is here. Ben got this.

We'll only go so far with Ben... Playoffs are a different beast and we need consistent scoring especially without Fultz at full strength. The defense will also be exposed. Teams have a lot of time to plan for us...

Alaa is not correct.

i believe he will see the doctors Wed-Thurs this week.

As of now, his status is up in the air for the beginning of playoffs.

I accept that he will be back as soon as he can, but he needs the clearance from the doctors first. Even when he comes back, he may need a game or two to get back to himself, and maybe the mask will really bother him.

I think that he should play the minimum sufficient amount for the first round. If that means 20 minutes in the first couple of games then so be it. I am very encouraged by the play of the team since he left, and I think that we can beat Miami or Millwaukee without him if need be.

A full force Embiid for round two would be essential to beating Boston.

I expect him to miss at least the first 2 games of the playoffs. Depending on the schedule, it could be more

Not yet, but I've heard that they are being cautious with his recovery and it would be closer to the 3 week timeframe than 2 weeks
