More stars demanding to get their way, not honoring commitments. What else is new? I'm guessing Westbrook gets traded and that OKC pick turns into money dump for Brand because no way that top 20 protection holds up. I wouldn't be shocked to see Westbrook go to NY for Barrett.

I like it for the Sixers though because the Lakers dont get him. Also I like that every reporter besides Woj counted out the Clippers making them look like idiots. I dont follow the cap situation real close but heard the Lakers had to have Leonard signed by the 6th because of cap issues. Did this signing hurt the Lakers cap space by waiting to sign until today?

ECF are still 11 months away and a lot can change.

If i were the Bucks and Gasol is bought out i would be all over him. He fits their 4 out system and is a good Embiid defender.

Best output for the NBA I think. There's gonna be so much good competition this year. Finals are totally up in the air. Love it.

They’ll be lucky to get off that Westbrook contract for free.

I guess I won't be able to bitch ablout Brand trading away 2d round picks next year since that OKC picks just turned into even more future seconds instead of the semi fake-first that it was. He might actually have to use those four second rounders next year, or try to use them to trade up into the late first.

Should the Sixers trade Ben Simmons to OKC for Russell Westbrook?

Westbrook is the #7 ranked player in NBA by SI, they have Ben Simmons #26. Behind Greek Freak Westbrook may be the most exciting dynamic player in nba, His assists numbers are off the charts and could be that break down offensive go-to-guy the Sixers need to win a Title the next 3-4-5 years.

I am also amazed at what has happened.

And the absolute most redonkulous thing is, the reports that there was talks about PG & Westbrook trading to TOR, but TOR decided they weren't interested. I mean it's just NBA pandemonium the last week or so.

There is no way I would feel better if the competition is weaker than before. Kawhi leaving Raptors means Raptors is a much weaker team. From a competitive standpoint, no way it feels good to beat them when they are weaker.

Westbrick is in the same mold as D'Bustello, glorified chuckers that pad their stats. I wouldn't even trade Shayok for one of them.

Hell no.

And having Russ #7 overall is insane. I don't think he has a good argument for top-10 even without Durant in the picture. Kawhi, Giannis, Curry, Lebron, Harden, Davis, George, Embiid, Jokic, Dame..

I'm sure he'll put up MVP type numbers (minus the efficiency) again this year (if he stays) and promptly exit the playoffs in round 1.

contraire mon frere

Russell Westbrook might break the NBA season record for assists if he became a Sixer. He averaged 11 assists, 11 rebounds, 22 points last season with a bad OKC team. Westbrook is the breakdown playmaking guard that takes the pressure off of everyone else. At the end of games he is going for the throat instead of hiding in a corner.

Get Russell Westbrook NOW!!!!!

Russell Westbrook makes the Sixers prohibitive favorites for the NBA Title the next 3-4 years.

Didn't they just beat a weaker golden state? It happens and nobody will care about that if we win the championship.
