He is a proven loser, who won once just because his team was a lot better thn others, and he lost 10 playoff games during that run.

He is legit one of the worst coaches in the league. What a joke..

This is a bit of a strange take after just watching the Clippers choke away a 3-1 series lead against an inferior team with double digit leads in each of those choked games.

The Lue hate combined with the positivity for Doc really perturbs me.

They've both won a title once. The difference is that while Ty remains somewhat unproven, Doc Rivers has PROVEN to be a complete choke job.

Lol this is a joke of a post. That was that teams first season together and they were all slightly out of their primes. And they also beat a top 10 GOAT in Kobe and he defeated the greatest coach of all time. So what if he lost 10 playoff games on his way to a championship?

Ah, right, the entire coaching staff will be different. That's refreshing. If only that kind of turnover was possible in the front office.

55 wins is my prediction

2 seed

This team has talent most experts picked us to get to the finals BB was an idiot and players tuned him out.

I think we make one good move and win 50 games.

Good nab by Elton Brand - and finally someone will know how to properly utilize Tobias Harris (let alone the rest of the roster)! Speaking of which, I'm expecting a couple of interesting shakeups this offseason (hopefully focusing on less turnovers and more intensity across the board)

In case you missed the news, this wasn't a Brand hire. The terrible ownership, and by extension FO, unfortunately casts a long shadow.

Tobias Harris looked like Paul Pierce the last time he played for Doc.

I’m kind of excited to see how the starting lineup is filled out. Doc has a lot of work to do to get this group playing a top form.

its whatever.

Doc is at the very least an upgrade from Brett...but until the FO is also cleaned up..nothing matters. And the fact that Elton had to compromise it seems doesn't give me much faith really.

I'm good w/this. Almost indifferent between Glenn and Dan Tony, but would take either over Ty Lue.

Now please take out the trash in the front office!
Exactly this. Good hire, still need to see more heads roll in the front office.

Has anyone checked on PhillyPhilly? Does he have enough water? Should I call FEMA and have them airlift him some supplies?

Personally not a fan of Doc Rivers...but if majority of the fan base likes this hire then so be it..Doc needs veterans...playoffs is a lot more about adjustments on the fly..and most of that is done in game by smart players..

Secondly..it would be interesting to see who Doc Rivers will hire as his offensive and defensive gurus in terms of assistant coaches..that will determine how the team does.. I can't see Doc changing the mindset of the current players as to how they play..so we shall see which direction this hire will take the 76ers..
