I think Danny Green signals that we might be trading Thybulle plus for a legitimate third star. Could be reading the tea-leaves poorly.

I'm not mad at this deal. Horf will probably be a borderline allstar in OKC and **** on us when we play the Thunder next year, but this totally helps us in terms of team construction and gets us off the books of a toxic contract as Green is an expiring.

Also Green is a winner and we're pretty much guaranteed to go to the finals with him now :p

What did you guys expect? Al Horford was a terrible signing, Brand should feel like a jackass. Especially with Morey cleaning up his mess. Green gives us another solid perimeter defensive player who can hit threes. He's basically what we hope Mattise can be someday. At least we're keeping our first for tonight. I figured we'd have to part with that too. You can't be mad about this. The punishment is light, considering the severity of the crime that Brand committed.

Seems to create an $11 million trade exception for us as well. 1-6 protection is reasonable. Precursor to later moves.
