Re: NBA General Discussion: 24-25
I’m intrigued by Chet Holmgren’s rebounding numbers to start the year. If he starts averaging 11-12 rpg in addition to his shot blocking, I could easily see him being near the top of the DPoY voting.

Hell, he's in the MVP conversation at the moment.

I can't believe Markelle Fultz made 87 million dollars as an NBA player.

Well, he was paid half that just for being drafted #1
always a jump shot away.

Pure star. Nets need to embrace him as their franchise player and give him the appropriate extension signifying that.

The shooting of this Celts squad is unreal. Bucks is losing the math game.

Paolo Banchero is becoming one of the best young players in the league. Dropped a 50 piece in a comeback win.

We need more 3PT shooting to have a chance against them.

Knicks don't scare me. They were probably a better team last year

Nice to see Tobias stealing money from a team other than ours.

Fwiw, sixers scouts were right on Missi and Carrington. I think McCain would turn out to be OK.

3pt is the great equalizer. We could be more talented all we want, but if they can outshoot us in 3s, then it would be hard for us to beat them unless we can get way more possessions, or higher FG%, or get more to the line, or combinations of that.

Zach Edey had more than 4x FGA than rebounds in 18 minutes last night. Weird box score line. Is he a bad rebounder?

It’s partly because the game is too fast and partly because the refs tend to be biased against rookies, especially with Edey’s physical style of play.
If a rookie comes into a league a plays like Embiid, that guy is going to get fouled out in the first quarter.

As I said during the offseason..
Glenn really working his magic. And he's already hinting at throwing the team under the bus.
"It's discipline, period," Bucks head coach Doc Rivers said after the loss to Memphis. "At some point there has to be consequences for it. Just too many times they ran behind us today. Over and over again. I mean, bigs running behind us for lobs. That just can't happen. It's not like we don't work on that every day, but we are not working on it well enough, because if we were they wouldn't be doing it. Again, I keep going back to me. There's something they're not hearing that I'm telling them, and I gotta do a better job."
"Most people do not really want freedom, because freedom involves responsibility, and most people are frightened of responsibility." - Sigmund Freud

It's remarkable that the Bucks couldn't see Doc as radioactive. They deserve everything they get.
