Eagles are legit this year. Only bs team chemistry issues and coaching will stand in our way me thinks

If Embiid's injury isn't serious, this team is going to keep trying to compete.

Re: Jared McCain out indefinitely with a torn meniscus
Welp, this news along with Embiid's latest injury have officially put me in the Sag for Flagg camp. Not that I think he's stupid enough to do this, but hopefully Morey doesn't try to use McCain as a trade chip before the deadline to try to salvage the season as he still holds value as a productive young player on a cheap contract. He's just going to have to accept the inevitable that this is another lost season at this point.

I also think that the refs could potentially screw them in a close game. The NFL hates us.

It doesn't matter if this injury is serious. He'll be hurt again with something else a week later.
It really sucks McCain got hurt.

It's incomprehensible it hasn't already been done.

The NBA hates the Sixers. I don't know that the NFL cares one way or the other about the Eagles.

If this organization is smart, we will not win more than three or four games all year make it happen!

Re: Jared McCain out indefinitely with a torn meniscus
I don’t think the team views him as highly as the fans do, where he’s sometimes compared to being the next Steph Curry.
Ultimately, I think the team’s decision to tank will hinge primarily on Joel’s availability and the overall morale of the roster.
That said, the team has played with poor morale all season. Most of the time, they look disconnected, lack energy, and seem lost.
As for Embiid, he doesn’t look healthy. What’s most concerning is how passive he’s been, especially in the Pacers game, where he wasn’t playing well even before the injury. Honestly, we likely would’ve lost that game even if Jojo hadn’t gone down.
Another factor to consider is Maxey’s shooting slump, which looks serious after roughly 20 games. If this continues, it could play an even bigger role in determining whether we compete or tank.

There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

He may not have injured himself flopping at any point. Idk. Bet it doesn't help though.eyeatoma wrote:JRoy wrote:eyeatoma wrote:
Interesting
This you?
Get out of here with that fake ass sympathy. You've been a huge Embiid hater, and now you're here to get sympathy points for McCain.
Funny that a guy as smart as you think you are cannot distinguish between distaste for a players play style and sympathy for fans of injured players.
Enjoy your phony outrage I guess.
So your distaste for his playing style, allows you to make remarks that make no sense at all? Explain to me how Embiid flopped into breaking his orbital 3 times, his sInus once, hell any of the injuries?
Not a single one came from flopping. It's completely baseless and unsubstantiated argument, used by people who don't enjoy Embiid, who use it as another reason to **** on him. Take your phony sympathy out of here. You just feed into the reddit hive mind mentality of that cesspool called the General Board. The level of vile **** that is said on those Embiid threads, shows how unhealthy a relationship a lot of people have with him. It's actually disturbing.
BUT he surely ended his own teammates career flopping into his knees with his big back self.
That's former Raptor great Danny Green who should have never lowered himself to wearing a philly Jersey to begin with nor being a teammate of the buffoon from Cameroon. (Does Cameroon even claim him anymore? Can he claim being from there? Do i gotta change the name?)
Cost danny his career. Wild.

Oh they hate the Eagles. They tried to ban the tush push multiple times because we are so good at it. Tons of holds on Jalen Carter that go uncalled. The phantom fumble by Saquon vs. the Jags that led to a defensive TD. The blatant uncalled face mask on Calcaterra last week that was right in front of the official. Let's not forget the "hold" on Bradberry in the SB. I get that refs aren't perfect and every team gets bad calls every now and then (except the KC Swifties), but it seems that the Eagles are on the wrong side of it more often than not.

I like DG but he was about 2 seconds away from retirement, with or without the injury.
