If Grimes is too expensive, let him walk—we have McCain. Honestly, I like his archetype, but it’s easy to find.

No you sign him, see how things play out and trade someone for assets. Probably Grimes.

We've also seen several times where some talented player like Grimes has a good few weeks with zero at stake except a contract.... Other GMs have too. IMO he's not worth the full MLE more like 9 or 10, but we'll see this season

Good news is no team has cap room this summer other than Brooklyn.

So easy to find; yet, we haven't had it until now. How odd.

Shake Milton? Remember that big scoring game against the Clippers? He even started for us as a two-way guard, running the two-man game with Embiid and averaging around 13 points per game on great efficiency.

Alec Burks could have worked too if we had given him more time. Trey Burke would have been atleast a borderline star if we have drafted him in 2013.

In this upcoming draft, Knueppel could likely be just as good. Tre Johnson is likely better. What about Liam McNeely, Jeremiah Fears, or Jase Richardson?

Hornets got a couple of guys who could possibly be good with this archetype, Tre Mann and Nick Smith Jr. Celtics has Hauser and Pritchard. Rockets with Cam Whitmore. Wolves, Terrence Shannon.

These guys can shoot and score against weak to average defenders, but once they face elite wing defenders and a defense fully schemed against them, they fold—just look at Maxey.

Grimes being an actual good athlete is what separates him from that group IMO. Sneaky good rebounder too.

I like Grimes. He plays with an edge. If I have to make a choice between him or Yabusele it's Grimes hands down. His asking price will obviously be the determining factor.
