I imagine the conspiracy theorists will be out tonight and tomorrow night if any players sit out a game or are played a ton of minutes to showcase their talents.

You have to love Deadline Season.

It's Gomes. MY BOY Craig Smith comes off the bench.

Been sayin' his name all season, and now we get to watch him up-close... Nothing spectacular. Just really, good dirty-work. A banger. Exactly what this team needs.

Craig Smith becomes a RFA this summer, and people balk at the idea of trading for him now....

But with the increasing teams who will be players this off-season (Kings, Grizzlies, etc.)... there is no guarantee whatsoever that the Sixers will net him. Minnesota probably won't pony-up too much loot because he's redundant next to Al Jefferson, but they could still match any offer. That leaves MIN, MEM and SAC in the running.

I say nab this guy. He seems available. MIN fans seem to be conceding the possibility of letting him walk this summer. Jefferson is their guy.

McHale might take Carney for Smith considering he's under contract. Quite frankly, I think Craig Smith will be a better PF in the NBA for our needs than Jason Smith and I'd swap them straightup. I know that's delicate to say around here with all the Jason Smith adoration, though. I'd also send the Utah pick for Craig Smith in a flash.

Again, he's not Karl Malone. But look what's out there. He's the best of what's around. Get it done, Ed.

Craig Smith is my boy too, I've been a fan of his since training camp two years ago, and it is good to see another fan of Cookie.

When you watch tonight's game and see Al Jefferson do what Al Jefferson does... think about how much better you would feel about this franchise's future if he were the starting 4 for this team. Sure, we wouldn't have Miller or Jason Smith but I believe we would have had #7 pick (Foye; also in this game) in the '06 draft, Jefferson, and Telfair.

Foye/Telfair
Iguodala/Williams/Green
Young/Carney
Jefferson/Shav
Dalembert/Blount

I've referenced this many times...huge mistake, although I'm not sure of all the details regarding Boozer in or out of the rumored deal. My starting lineup would have been a little different...

Williams
Iguodala
Gay
Jefferson
Dalembert

**Sorry...that sounded a bit off...I reference things at work...not here.

I often thought that deal was the one to make. whether or not they had to take back Wally S or Boozer(who was an expensive injury at that time)...they would have landed some nice young players.

^^ Yeah I remember thinking that the Iverson deal should have been to the celtics. Well, we'll deal with what we have. I think that the Sixers are gonna win tonight and Iguodala will go for 20 +.

The picture quality is subpar tonight (at least on my TV). I don't know whether its CN8 coming in kind of blurry or what, but its terrible from the standard angle. Closeups arent as bad, which makes me think its a camera issue.

^Ha, I know. Our offense is just terrible right now. We aren't rebounding like we usually do. We need to step it up on the energy level and the rest will come.

My picture quality is awful too, but so is the way we're playing. No energy, not boxing out, defense sucks, no passing on offense.

Reggie Evans has the kool-aid, he needs to stoop hogging it and pass the cup. Rotation **** rotation.

Iguodala's free throw shooting is pathetic. He should really be ashamed of himself after going 82% last year.

They need to regroup and take a breath. They look way too jumpy out there
