Another great game for him today. Russell is going to be a very good offensive player in this league as long as he gets put in the right role. He's never going to be a CP3/Wall-type quarterback but if someone else can share that load he's gonna get buckets. Simmons would have been the perfect young guy to pair him with.

DLO looked great in the two games against the Nuggets. He's much better playing off ball and shooting on spot-ups rather than a heavy playmaker like CP3. Looked like a great fit with Simmons and Embiid, much better fit than KP. For now, he's the guy I'm mad we didn't end up with in last year's draft.

I like him a lot more off the ball than as a point guard. Having Simmons run your team allows you to get maximum value out of guys like Russell.

He's slow with the ball but he has the size advantage over most PGs that he can shoot over them. He'll thrive with Walton's system he inherited from Kerr. Nuggets played poor defenss btw.

Well hopefully he blows up this year and the Lakers win 30 games.

I loathe Golden State and since I don't believe this year's Cleveland squad can take them down again, I pray San Antonio stays contenders. Maybe Kawhi takes another big step. It will be interesting with Pau in the fold with Aldridge now too. Unfortunately, I just don't think it will be enough.

Wiggins and Dunn struggled against Hornets. Dunn had one of those games where you wouldn't even want to trade Holmes for him.

Jamal Murray is having an 'under the radar' pretty solid preseason.

Would love to go after him. Think we should take Farried in return and give Noel and something, but I really like this kid.

Sampson waived by Nuggets. A BB favorite.

If Bulls are moving on from Jerian Grant or Spencer Dinwiddie, would you take a flyer on one of them?

4 marginal Point Guards seems like a bit much to have on a 15 man roster.

They have Canaan, Dinwiddie, Grant, and now MCW all as possible back ups to Rondo. Canaan could play off ball, but his usefulness is as a pullup shooter - regardless, that's stil too many ball dominant (Point) Guards to have. I'm sure not all of them make it.

WE GOT THE LAKERS PICK FOR MICHAEL CARTER-WILLIAMS.

Hinkie is a bad man.

Wade and Butler also handle the ball a lot. Seems dumb but maybe they think Snell is garbage/MCW's value is so low right now that they have to take advantage.

Oh forgot they also have Valentine. They have like 6 guys that can play point guard for stretches and they traded for a guy that can only play point guard.

Yeah, but they gave up Tony Snell. Don't get me wrong MCW is pretty flawed but you sort of have to make that deal if you are CHI.

I wouldn't be surprised if Colangelo was interested as well. I think the optics of the trade as it is were bad enough. Trading him back to the team that got the LAL pick for a guy like Thompson who is prob equal value would have been death kneel. I wonder if this sort of signifies they are going for it all this season though.

Do they entertain Noel for Middleton plus lets say Roco.

Or if you really want to rub salt in the wound you could look at it from the standpoint we got the LAL pick for Tony Snell

So with MCW, Jerian Grant only played 3 minutes and Spencer Dinwiddie didn't play at all, Canaan still in rotation for the Bulls

Jarrett Jack was just waived by Hawks, he's injured though and unlikely to be available for opener. Perhaps an option later in the season?
