Kyrie, sure, but Jordan wasn’t doing squat.

yea.I though it was awfully cocky of them not to put in Kyrie. If roles were reversed and our bench came back from 22, Doc would of probably put in our starters to try to win. They lost but I'm sure their locker room is celebrating.

Imagine what those refs would do if Kd and harden were playing. The nets vs LA will be the most cringeworthy finals in the last 20 years. We ain’t winning a series against the nets, you have to be delusional

The energy clearly wasn’t there in the 4th. Our top guys want to face their top guys. At the end of the day it’s a win, that could be the difference between playing game 7 of the ECF at home or on the road.

Ultimate troll move by Nash, and solid game theory to boot: keep the scrubs in, and if you lose, the damage to your team is minimal. But if you win with the scrubs after being up 22 in the 4th, the sixers are devastated.

They have a frontcourt of Kyrie/Harden/Harris/Tyler Johnson/Shamet and don't have a defensive center when Claxton doesn't play.

Today Kyrie shot like 80% in the first half just to keep them in the game. Yeah they have 3 of the best 10 offensive players in the game but their defense is just atrocious so they're likely to keep teams close.

We're underdogs, for sure, but i think is a pretty tall order to try to win series without defending at all.

We’ve had a bunch of games we should have put away early, losing some but pulling out most. With the exception of Jimmy coming through for us, we used to lose most of them. And it’s fine to for other teams to set up conditions for moral victories, but I still think losing games you could have won ultimately add up worse. Wait until we got a true point guard and Embiid leaves it all out on the court, with no back to backs. Just a couple of weeks away.

Was just looking at the schedules of the sixers and nets the rest of the way. Both teams have a gauntlet of tough games. Not gonna be a bunch of gimmes for either team.

Really not much to take out of the game. It was almost treated like a scrimmage. Nets fans trolling but if you look at the minutes played. Kyrie played the same as Embiid.

Kyrie harden and KD can score 100 for all I care. And yes it will be be difficult to beat them. Sixers just can’t get lazy on transition. That’s what will decide the games if we play them in a series. Embiid has to wreck havoc. KD and especially harden do not like to play help defender if Embiid in the post. Joe Harris is gonna to be hunted down when he’s on defense. Then they will have to play green more with whoever they want at the 5 (Jordan/claxton/lma)

Only 5 guys can be on the court at a time. And two of those guys on Nets will be defensively liabilities.

I still think if all 3 Nets players play together ever — it won’t work come playoff time . Harden has a history of Choking and it’s just a matter of time before KDs Achilles heel, or hamstring snaps. I see them getting beat in the second round.

Let’s keep in mind it was a 22 point lead before Doc put his foot of the gas for some reason. That won’t happen in the playoffs and Ben is right they can’t play D and all 3 of Their big guns think they are the number 1 option. I say they implode in the playoffs.

Yeah... outside of Jo I don't know who else steps up in a pressure packed playoff series against a team full of present and former stars. I expect Simmons and Harris to sink against that backdrop, not rise. But we'll see what happens I guess. It even might still be presumptuous to assume the Sixers will get to the ECF's against BKN.

That’s why this win was so important. Getting that #1 to avoid Bucks in the semis.

In ideal world the Nets face the Miami Heat in the 1st round and the Bucks in the 2nd round.
We face Indy/Charlotte/Knicks in the 1st round and the Hawks in the semis.

Nets won this one.

DeAndre can’t defend Embiid but he and the Nets are getting used to Embiid. While instead of playing against Harden and Durant, our guys played against Shamet and Jeff Green.

Tobi had a good game. But he was defended by like Joe Harris and Shamet almost the entire game.

We probably should have sat Embiid this game.

In the playoffs, they will take turns depending on hot hand and match-ups.

Im not saying Nets will be unstoppable or great but they’ll be better than what they are in reg season. Still, I do think they’re still waaay underperforming relative to their talent.

Like your point of Harden choking, yes because teams can focus on Harden with the Rox. And the way Rox plays, it has a lot of variance involve given their high 3pt and iso volume. And micro ball is a dumb idea.

In this Nets, teams can’t just focus on Harden. And if harden’s shots aren’t falling, he’d then slide into a playmaker and let Kyrie and KD be the scorers.

It’s just for this Nets, they should aim to score atleast 130-150pts per game nightly just so they can live up to their talent and justify their roster construction. Either that or they project teams to decline on offense in the playoffs (like what we project our team will) while they still sustain or even have an extra gear on offense to create separation.
