That is an overpay for Coby White, especially with the Bulls having Lonzo in his spot now and a large salary commitment going forward, plus White has a shoulder injury, and Markelle Fultz makes me not trust that till I see him shoot again (I am hopeful for him to be fine though).

I might build a separate deal for White built around Matisse and Springer if White is healthy. The Bulls don't want to pay him and could use a guy like Thybulle to defend around all the scorers they have accumulated.

Any trade with Minnesota needs to include every draft pick and swap they can possibly send, minimum, and they would do that.

Lol, no they don't.

Between the 4 players, they are averaging 22ppg. If anything, the Wolves aren't giving enough.

The only thing worse than a player not playing in games this season is the hunk of garbage the Wolves were trying to pawn off on us playing substantially worse than last year.

There are players that would have genuine mental health issues, and I'm sure a small minority that use it as an excuse that can not be questioned. Unfortunately we have to put up with the later to ensure there is the right support for those that need it.

Sports is not society. These are alpha personalities and alpha competitors. There's millions of dollars at play.

Simmons is not though...
He is only alpha around girls, but on the court he is a beta.

Probably, but unless someone like Fox becomes available, I think someone of White's ability is enough to entice the Sixers while also bringing in 2 "win-now" playoff pieces ready to compliment Embiid. It's not ideal, but I'd definitely consider it.

Deal has to make sense

That package is a massive downgrade from a healthy Ben

I am interested in seeing what happens with the Suns

They are off to a rough start and haven’t extended Ayton

Stranger things have happened than Chris Paul becoming available

I'd kinda ring the Spurs again. They're 1-4 and may be even more desperate to make a move early to bring in a big name and shake things up.

They're 1-4 because their assets are mediocre. I'd need 2 unprotected firsts on top of whatever the offer is.

I doubt the sixers and Morey went through all of these to just take some mediocre pieces and call it a day. Waiting until a star asks out is still the best way to build a contender for the Sixers.

Unfortunately so.

I'm not thrilled with the idea of waiting for a star to ask out and then including Simmons and a bunch of picks to bring him aboard.

I hate the concept of going all-in on an imaginary window.

I want to deal with the Spurs at this point if possible. Murray can and should be the main piece coming back if possible.
