Rivers was right. He sux.

Undersized and lacking the strength needed for a rail-thin big. The ideal archetype for this role would be someone like Nic Claxton.

With Doc Rivers.

The guy who many would've said was a top 3 coach last year in Nick Nurse never got anything out of him. Bickerstaff is a damn good coach that just had a 2nd round run last year and didn't see the value in Reed on a bad team for even half a season... Couldn't trade him.... Just cut him.

And truthfully Drummond is and was the best backup big for the time he was with that 2022 team... Maybe even now

I see BBall as a center version of Thybulle. Both rely on quick reaction time and agility to gamble defensively, using their instincts to compensate for certain weaknesses. On some nights, these gambles make them look like defensive stars, while on others, they end up hurting the team by being out of position. You also can’t play with against bigger centers, so we use to deal with this by placing Tucker on the big then let Reed play as the roamer.

While on the offensive end. He lacks the elite verticality to be a consistent lob threat, doesn’t possess the physical tools to set impactful screens, and struggles against switches because he has the strength of a guard or wing player rather than a true big.

Thybulle damn near a better lob threat than Reed. Thybulle actually had multiple positions 1-3 he can defend legitimately if he stopped making dumb gambles.

Reed can't defend the perimeter or the paint. He
Didn't box out, just reached for rebounds. Literally has no consistent skill besides effort, and that's offset by his dumb ish. If he doesn't develop a jumper, he's useless and he hasn't done it yet

Giannis had a big game to win the NBA cup finals. 36-19-10

That’s what real superstars do.

LaVine? Ingram? The nuggets are determined to slam their championship window closed.

To win the what?

Well, now James has gotten his last trophy, Lillard got his 'first', and Glenn can (and I have no doubt will) say he has two.

A trophy that we can’t even win.

I don’t understand the complaints about too many three-pointers. I think it’s great for the league. It’s far more entertaining than the alternatives, like a low-post-heavy offense or a free-throw-heavy game, both of which can be a snoozefest. Plus, it helps players adapt better to the international style of play.

It’s incredible that they only have 4 first-round picks left until 2031, while we have around 7-8 during the same span. I always thought they had plenty of picks because I can’t recall them making any major “win-now” moves. Meanwhile, it feels like we’ve been holding onto our picks just to make a “win-now” move every season.

Jokic should ask for a trade. He has a chance to be the GOAT if he just ends up at the 5-6 rings stratosphere.

Well thank goodness for that, anyway.

I'd be embarrassed to even admit my team won what should really be called the Silver Cup after that POS snake.

The fact that Randle is ruining Minnesota is pretty much the least surprising thing ever.

Truth. It's hard to believe that's the best deal Minnesota could have gotten for Towns.
